..I'm looking for a new HDMI cable snce my old one started to display blurry picture. I went into best buy and saw a RocketFish HDMI for only 20 bucks but hesistated because I didn't know if these are good or not.. (my 50 dollar 10 ft, sony cable just broke)

Are the expensive HDMI cables worth the high price tag?.

There is no difference in image quality no matter what the price. Don't let a Best Buy employee talk you into buying an expensive one, they are practically used car salesman.

AmazonBasics. $5.50. Supports Ethernet over the same wire as well.

The big chain stores offer deals on their televisions, only to recoup the money by charging you $50 for $2 cables. Save your money.

I bought 5 for less than $5 on Amazon a year or two ago. 1 went out a few months ago, but the other 4 still work great. I feel bad for people that get talked into buying something outrageous like Monster or something.

Fry's has them pretty cheap if you don't want to wait for shipping. Make sure you go to the computer section though.

This. The prices at electronic stores are ridiculous. I bought an AmazonBasic HDMI, cheap and have had no problems.

Follow all the others who have said Amazon or monoprice. I remember my mom called me a few days after Christmas at Best Buy because she just got an HDTV for Christmas. She was about to spend $30 before I stopped her. Bought her one on Amazon for $2.

I got mine for 99 cents about 2 years ago... still works. Got it on Amazon. If you spend more than $2 on a HDMI cable, you are an idiot.

Once you play Xbox with those babies, you'll never go back.

    It's made outta real diamonds!

Because you don't wait for deals that show up on the interwebs.

"I bought this HDMI cable around Christmas time. Even though I just had a small 20-inch vacuum tube television and VCR-laserdisc combo player, my favorites immediately were up-converted to High Definition. I've honestly never seen Mulan like that before. Now I don't have to imagine what it would have been like to face the Huns - I can experience it every Thursday night in the comfort of my own home.
After inviting a few neighbors over to verify what I was seeing (I'm a skeptic at heart), me and my TV experience became the talk of the block. Women started dropping off fresh-baked cookies and men were lining up to mow my lawn just to see the picture quality. My life at home has been transformed. I finally feel like I have a place where I belong. "
