I was watching a replay of the Combine last night and Fran Fraschilla mentioned that he could see Cunningham sneaking into the late teens - early 20s with a solid showing both at the Combine and individual workouts.

I can't remember who, but somebody said he had a little Russell Westbrook in him. Going back and watching him more and more, I can see a little Russell when he drives to the hoop. Similar style.

Question is, can he be a full-time PG in the NBA? How does he fare as a 6'4" SG, if he stays there?

I love Harkless's athleticism, but anytime someone throws out a Russell Westbrook comparison (and I can see it myself), I'm in!

I haven't really seen him play but did read some scouting reports. What's his wingspan?

Is every athletic combo guard now going to be compared to Russell Westbrook?

Amen. If we keep our mid-round picks, I want one of them spent on Harkless. It's time for Houston to take some risks on talent, and I want a young, athletic freak on my roster to inspire all kinds of warm fuzzy feelings about the future.

Just saying is all. These exceptional players come by every once in a while, then all sorts of young college or high school players are billed as "the next _____."

I mean, wasn't Dajuan Wagner "the next Allen Iverson"?

But in all honesty, I should STFU. Don't want to derail the thread.

As for whether or not we should draft him, I'll go with No. Give me Terrence Ross at 16 when it comes to SGs around that point in the draft. Short of that, let's just trade away the pick.

He looks a lot more like Iman Shumpert than Russell Westbrook.

His game looks nothing like Russel Westbrook to me.

I'd rather take Tony Wroten at 16.

Says who? DraftExpress? They have him as a very early second rounder and acknowledge that he helped himself at the Combine and could easily be a first rounder. He's just as likely to go in the late first than the early second. For all we know, 10 NBA teams have him in their top-16.

Please don't take mock draft sites as the gospel.

This. You think that every team is making sure to hand in their draft boards to DraftExpress for their next great Mock Draft?
