This I have actually had and was quite decent to my surprise when compared to all the other frozen pizzas. Its just that the crust and cheese and the sauce are no where near as good as a restaurant bought pizza. I've tried the more expensive brands of frozen pizza but they have all been very disappointing. Whenever I buy pizza from a restaurant and bring it home I can always reheat it in the oven and it tastes great.
Had a Red Baron the other night with my roommate after we smoked. Turns out we bought the 'Fire Baked' variety.... Sweet Neptune's beard it was the best frozen pizza I've ever had by far. We put a bunch of crushed red peppers and oregano on it before we put it in the oven, god I'm so hungry now. Anybody ever get Papa Murphy's before? Better than any delivery place.
Haven't bought one in a while but Leonardo's chicago style frozen pizza is very good. At HEB, not all locations.
I got papa murphy's in college once because we had a coupon. It was a good pizza, but the price can add up if you go topping crazy. I still prefer Papa Johns over papa murphs, though.
Papa Murphy's is awesome in comparison to any of the big chain stores. Papa John's is only good on Monday nights and the rest are only good when they're free.
Digiorno's is actually OK for frozen pizza for me. Stouffer's french bread pizza is good if you add your own mozzarella cheese on top of the pizza. None of it is better than delivery or making your own.
WHERE DO THEY SELL THIS? I MUST KNOW I haven't seen the Mexican style at my local HEB, so I thought they stopped making them! Been YEARS since I've had my last one.
