    This is a stat I was not aware of, but after doing some research, I read that Jerry West went to the NBA finals 9 times. And he lost 8 of them. 1-9 in the NBA finals. :eek:

    Not sure if serious. Just in case though:

    1-9 means one win and nine losses.

    1-8 means one win and 8 losses

    1/9 means one win in nine tries :)

    1 out of 9 is what I meant. Good catch! I never watched him play but I guess the Celtics beat them 8 times in the finals. It's just a stat I've never heard mentioned before.
