He is a free agent this year. Probably prefers the Celtics, but they might have plans to go younger.

If the Rockets ends up making a Gasol trade and manage to clear some cap space, they should go after KG. Would form the kind of front line needed to challenge the top teams in the conference. Perhaps the relationship between McHale and Garnett (plus an appropriately large financial offer) can sway him?

As second part of a Gasol like move at the right price, sure. Otherwise no thanks.

QUESTION: Would you be good if this off season netted us
    KG and Kobe

I know Kobe is not on the market but
I was just wondering what is his market value these days
    he is in obvious decline

It just depends on what the roster looks like after the madness that is bound to happen on draft night and throughout the summer. If he's going to block up and coming guys like Motiejunas from getting any playing time then obviously they should pass. If they are able to make deals and there is playing time at the 4/5 hell yeah.

Objectively, KG and Kobe have strong perimeter skillsets. KG with his 18 foot jumper and Kobe with his one step fadeaways. So age is little factor in their overall performance. We won't notice as steep of a decline as someone like Tmac.

I dislike both of them though as human beings however.

He completely changes the culture of the team and makes the team amazing defensively. He makes people work.

I don't see him leaving Boston though.

    Non-championship contenders need not apply.

At the right price, Garnett would be a great addition.

Let's let KG retire...I don't think he's got that Camby mentality of four more years
I think he has and knows he's got lotsa wear on those legs
He's lucky to be the player he is after 09 injury
He's a stud but I think he is going to retire and good for him. He goes out a champion once, should of been twice.

If he's a free agent, he'll probably wait out the first three months of the season and rest his legs.

Interesting question ...if we came out with those two lets just hope they didn't come to bring their injuries here. They however are all time soldiers as players so ya if our org. Could PULL that off all power to the high school 40 year old duo

The only reason I would want KG to come here is to see Lowry beat the living **** out of him on live TV when/if KG ever does that "yank someone by the arm into the huddle" thing to Lowry.

Actually. Let's get Garnett. I want to see this happen.

If he wants another ring, he should take a pay cut and join the Heat.
