Spurs 20 game win streak = Fool's gold?

There will be no asterisk beside the winning streak for the Spurs.

If you ask fans outside of each fan base which streak is more impressive the Spurs or the Rockets most would say the Spurs. Sad thing is the Rockets steak wasn't even number 1 so it's not even that important.

Spurs are a legit team .... Top 3 before the season and maybe the best team
but the Thunder are actually having a chance to win it..... They blew one of the first two games....now Spurs still have an advantage

I was reading a Spurs blog after they lost Game 3 and 99% of their fan posts were so arrogant and cocky saying "losing Game 3 was the best thing to happen to the Spurs". BAHA!!!!!!!!

Actually, that's what makes the thread so nice. It would've been less entertaining had CH been serious.

 

i"ll trade a 22 win streak for a championship anytime. again showing how said our fanbase is, when we act like a win streak that no one cares about is better than a championship that you can add to your rafters and memories.

 

Well, they were technically right. That loss was supposed to be the reality check that would hopefully have had lit another fire in the Spurs to revitalize them before their finals matchup.

And then the Spurs got Alzheimers and forgot how to win.

I disagree. Losing any game in the playoffs is never good. The best thing that could have happened to them was win Game 3, keeping that over whelming train of momentum going while emotionally crushing the Thunder. A 0-3 deficit is monumental compared to a 0-2 deficit which turned into a 1-2 deficit "after the best thing that could have happened happened". Yea the Thunder eventually won 4 straight but Game 4 could have been different had they been down 0-3. Their fans were just being overly arrogant, pretty much saying "well we can stop talking about if we will sweep the entire playoffs but we can now focus on just planning our championship parade!!!!".
