Funny, you put him in that group and mention Presti. Presti has Brooks along the ride for a reason. That is a choice that has been made. If Presti has earned the right to coach these young fellas it is safe to assume that Brooks is an OK or better.
I always find it funny when people think they know what the impact of a coach is on a team. You have no freaking clue. No one does. What coach ever prevented a player from being great or a team from winning a championship?

I think he's a good coach. He's got his team playing good defense and is blessed to have an extremely talented young deep team. He's no Jerry Sloan, but then again he doesn't need to be. As long as his players got his back and buy into his system, he'll be with the Thunder for a long time. Plus it's good to see a former Rocket do well as a coach. Heck, even if Kenny Smith was offered a coaching gig, I'd cheer for his team's success as long as it wasn't against the Rockets.
