Both are heralded as above average passers. Would be interesting.

I think we should go ahead and take him with the 14th pick if we have to pick at 14 and 16.

Drummond's gonna be a bust, everyone should see that train coming a mile away. Anyway I think Leonard's the best C prospect after his combine. You won't find that kind of athleticism+health+skillset a lot.

If he's available at 14, you take him no questions asked. I don't think he's worth trading up for though, Fab Melo could be just as good/even better and he's gonna come up much lower. Although personally, I hope DM can flip Lowry for another pick and then grab Leonard, Ross and Royce White/Jeff Taylor.

I am an Illinois fan and watched at least 15-20 games this year. I think Leonard is a big athletic kid with a lot of skill. His mentality is the issue. It seemed as if he couldn't handle Bruce Webber (one of the nicest guys is college basketball) yelling at him or challenging him to be tougher. The illini were so bad this year with so much talent. This was a team full of immature kids and Leonard may have been chief among them. I think on all the pre-drafft tests he is going to score well. He is an impressive athlete. What these teams need to do is sit him down and have a bunch of coaches scream at him for a few minutes. I worry that he is just not ready for LIFE as a professional athlete.

I'm not saying Leonard is worth a top ten pick. I don't know if he's going to be a bust or not, but some GM is going to select him before 14th. He's just too tall, too long, and looks like he can chew gum and walk at the same time, and that's usually all it takes for a center to be drafted higher than they've proven they deserve to be. Such is life in the NBA.

And Fab Melo (love the name) should be another consideration. Hell, why not both.

Agree, all I can think of when I see/hear him is Kwame Brown 2.0

Do not like, I see a lot of people here were crazy about him one to two months ago. Now many do not seem to like him very much, you can just wait for Morey to pick him and people going crazy with "I told you so" when he has a bad first season.

I'm down with taking a risk on Fab Melo if we already bring in another center or he's the only one left. I have a bad feeling about his work ethic, seems like another Hasheem Thabeet.

If we can buy him in the late first round or early 2nd, I say do it. Otherwise, I don't think he's worth the 16th pick.

He will be there at 14. He will be there at 16. Hope we take SF or SG in the draft or better trade the picks for a center.
