Anybody know a good podcast to get the fill on Euro 2012 news? Know there's a few out there, would love a good recco. Really looking forward to this--helluva summer for sports.
Unreal save for that goalie to come off the bench cold to stop the penalty kick. 1st game of the euros and its this good? We're in for a treat.
I went to lunch at halftime and figured the game was over and come back to see that Greece somehow managed a draw.
And that's why I always thought the darkhorse claim for Poland was complete rubbish. Way too young and inexperienced, also lacking good players at several positions. They will finsih 2nd in the group and lose in the quarters.
Looking forward to seeing Russia now. Always have them as darkhorses yet they always fail for various reasons(weak on mental side, inconsistency). So much talent and a great playing style, it's strange to see them failing all the time in tournaments.
Any team run by a Dutch coach tends to outperform their skill level. Think Russia in the past, Korea with Hiddink, Turkey, etc.
no kidding. Cech hasn't had to move at all on any of his shots. sad part is Kerzhakov is doing a great job of getting space to put up the shots.
