cant wait till the new season starts! anybody know how many episodes is it this year? 8? <HR>Admin Edit: Previous threads dedicated to seasons of "Breaking Bad"... Breaking Bad - Season 1 Breaking Bad - Season 2 Breaking Bad - Season 3 Breaking Bad - Season 4
Best show on Television along with Game of Thrones. I cannot wait for this season to start. All the things I've read and seen about season 5 says this might be the best season. Only a month and a half to go.
Love Breaking Bad, didn't get into it until after the end of the fourth season. Saw it on Netflix forever and heard people talk it up but never bothered until a dull day where I decided to give it a shot. The wife and I breezed through three seasons like wildfire! Since Netflix didn't have the fourth season up I had to bootleg it but now I'm all caught up!
Season 5 premieres Sunday, July 15. http://www.buzzfeed.com/abrams/amc-picks-up-breaking-bad-for-2-more-seasons-16 AMC Picks Up “Breaking Bad” For 2 More Seasons, 16 Episodes Aaron Paul revealed this on the Nerdist Podcast, check out around the 41 minute mark. There's also a few other BB comments but nothing revealing other than 'it gets even darker' http://www.nerdist.com/podcast/nerdist/
This is the last season, but it spans over 2 years, 8 episodes per year. Strike years, maybe 8 eps, a break and then another 8 eps...don't know how long the break is for.
Whether the last 16 episodes, which spans 2 years, qualifies as 2 seasons or 1 seems like a pretty meaningless debate.
Meaningless? On the contrary, this is a tactful decision made by AMC. The need to group the last 16 episodes over two years is a financial gain for sales, marketing, and distribution purposes. To the average viewer it's probably meaningless but to creative and TV networks it's a strategic, financial maneuver.
I like that episode when Jesse gets a new plasma and they talk about the black levels being better than LCD
I'm sure AMC will play through them before the new season starts. The first three seasons are on Netflix.
