The 6.6 million number is misleading, Tallanovor is correct.

I know for a fact that some of that number are people who had their own insurance and dropped it to go onto their parents plan. Why? Because it can be free.

If your parent has say a 16, a 19 and 25 year old, they can add the 25 year old to the group plan now at no extra cost.

That does make it hard to know how much "extra" access to coverage has been provided vs how much it's just saved some 25 year olds money. That isn't really a bad thing so I'm not knocking that portion of the law, but the way that stat is reported would lead you to believe that there are nearly 7 million people now who had no hope of being insured that do now.

Social democratic Norway, proof that socialism is the cure?

hmm. you're getting very regulation-approving and social democratic lately Texxx. I wonder when your blue-blooded free-market loving American card is up for validation.

It doesnt help that its an election year so the vitriol and thread spam hit new levels of absurdity.

Its honestly why there's no point in writing responses to any of this trash.

It is funny to see everyone bite so hard. I'll admit, I leave every Texx thread amused at the predictability.

Texx really isn't so bad. I personally find the "brah" schtick pretty funny, and he's usually willing to engage in some discussion.

Have to say, I use to think I was the best troll on here back in the day. But ya know what, it seems BigTexx's monster truck approach is by far the most effective. There's no art to trolling anymore. He just posts obvious gigantic in-your-face ridiculous bait and kaboom, impact registered.

I honestly feel a bit annoyed by how successful he is. perhaps...even envious. Tell me I was better? Wasn't I?

More positive affects the new healthcare law has accomplished.

14 Million Seniors Are Already Benefiting From Obamacare

Medicare reports that 14.3 million seniors in America have already received important preventive benefits under President Obama’s health care law. In the first few months of 2012, seniors were able to take advantage of a number of preventative health services, including an annual checkup, without paying any deductibles or co-pays. “Thanks to the health care law, millions of Americans are getting cancer screenings, mammograms, and other preventive services for free,” said acting CMS Administrator Marilyn Tavenner. “These preventive services are helping people in Medicare stay healthy and lower their health care costs.” –Angela Guo

When you have a melt down and have to abandon your user name, that's the opposite of successful trolling.

Sometimes I feel like they are actually liberals, their job is to rally the liberals together and make sure they unite and remember the liberals' cause. It works pretty well.

    actually no.

mcmark doesn't realize that some of the benefits he's posting aren't exclusive to Obama's bill. They could have been included in a better healthcare bill rather than the POS that Obama and his goons deceptively rammed through

red herring. There was no better bill. To bring up is just a red herring, and not applicable.

It also doesn't change the fact of Obama's accomplishments.

If a football team makes a first down, that's an accomplishment. It isn't as good as a play that would have scored them a touchdown, but it's still an accomplishment.
