Based on their track record, it's hard to take the results on that show as anything more than a single occurrence.

I've read quite a few books over the years and have tried to watch all the documentaries that are on TV.

I've gone from believing there was a conspiracy, to believing Oswald acted alone. At worst, I feel there was a lot of gross incompetence that allowed this to happen, but don't feel there was a conspiracy or coverup.

Would you really want to know? Besides I'm pretty sure there are a number of veterans around clutchfans who certainly have.

    As far as JFK goes....

What does this mean really? I don't think anyone believes that Oswald wasn't guilty, but did he act alone... unlikely. I don't mean to say for sure that there were other gunman, but I find it doubtful that there wasn't anyone else involved in some manner.

    So what was Oswald's motive?

Did they ever get positive ID on the babushka lady?

Sorry for the questions, I know very little about the assassination myself.

There is certainly circumstantial evidence that the mob was involved. They pulled strings on behalf of JFK's father to get him elected. Some believe the payback was that JFK was to overthrow Castro who had seized the mob's assets in Cuba during the revolution in 1958. Bay of Pigs was 1961. According to some the mob was upset at the half-assed attempt to repay the debt of the election of JFK.

They viewed Bobby's appointment to Attorney General, and subsequent crackdown on the mafia in the US, as having double crossed their arrangement. There is evidence that Jack Ruby had ties to the Chicago mafia.

In the book "I heard you paint houses" Frank the Irishman tells a story about how the mafia transported the guns that were to be used in the assassination. Jack Ruby was to tie up the loose ends.

I believe there was only one shooter, but I believe the mafia used that shooter's Cuban sympathies to provide the means for the assassination without the shooter being aware who was actually pulling the strings.

The best book I ever read about the JFK assassination was in a Don DeLillo novel called "Libra." It is less about solving the murder than understanding how a person like Oswald could be a pawn of huge societal forces, embody so many contradictions and carry out such an unbelievably momentous action.

Who owns that show the myth busters.. what race are the producers( what is their ethnic creed). Im sure you know where im getting at

maybe they are "busting" a myth, to make you and everybody else think that their was no conspiracy in the JFK assasination. I dont watch anything on TV except sports for good reason

everything on tv is used as a means of brainwashing

Im sure that just because on 9/11 you hear a guy screaming on a cell phone(just as about he is about enter one of the twin towers, telling the operator to tell his wife that he loved her, before he died). Come on man, i hate to come off as douchebag, but you have to know how these people in power who want WAR think. They will do the things that you dont expect a man to do to trick americans or any civilization that war is the only way out.

BTW dont mind my screename, i respect that Obama is the first black president, but i also know why they put him in that position.

This is what I think. JFK was killed by outside forces because he was going to pull out of Vietnam and that would hurt some special interests. Also after fdr and Truman people were scared of presidents becoming too powerful. If you notice jfk was the last president who had the power to make big decisions. The res have become pawns of other interests.

Did anyone catch "Killing Kennedy" recently-- a NatGeo special?

This premise is that Oswald was an ego-driven, ne'er-do-well who wanted a place in history.... which does not jibe with his famous proclamation of "just being a patsy."

This is the LEAST likely scenario. JFK was not going to pull out of Vietnam.

I know Oliver Stone likes this theory and I know that many left leaning doves prefer a history where Democratic presidents always wanted to end wars, but it's just not reality. Do some research about the Kennedy-Vietnam connection.

    Bill O'Reilly's book-turned-movie.

No thanks. O'Reilly has decided that he and he alone is capable of finally revealing the truth about what happened to famous historical figures such as Kennedy, Lincoln and Jesus. I'm not sure how anyone ever learned anything at all about history before Bill O'Reilly was around to piss his truth on the world.

    At being an idiot?

    Because ignorance is bliss?

Yeah that Seinfeld...they really want to brainwash you.

They...just spell it out so everyone can see your true colors.

Unless you mix in the unsaid trait of a born loser deflecting responsibility for his own actions and crappy decisions. And his past delusional aspirations as a double-agent superspy for the Soviets.

It may be worth noting that O'Reilly was an experienced and Harvard-educated journalist before he cashed in on Fox News. Sight unseen I'm just less inclined to judge his work based on his cable commentary.

I have no issue with him as a cable entertainer/commentator.
