    I think people should wait until after a series is over to start prasing players or talking trash.

    C'mon now.

    There is absolutely nothing wrong with disliking a player because of their attitude, like James, Garnett, Wade, etc.

    But, let's face it- the one thing that every single person on this board has in common is that we're much more knowledgeable about basketball, including the true finer points, than the large, large majority of the general public. And, let's face it, if any of us were GMs, and we have a chance to take a Lebron, a Derrick Rose, etc., there is no way we're going to say "no" unless there are strange circumstances (like trading 4 great players for a Lebron).

    But let's not let personal preferences, etc., get in the way of our intelligence. Lebron James is the best player in the NBA. If not for some, then at least the 3rd or 4th. That's just reality. Hate all you want about The Decision, etc.- but as we are all highly intelligent about basketball, let's objectively give credit where credit is due.

    And just imagine if we ever heard the following: "Lebron James chooses the Houston Rockets as a free agent." Wow.

    I agree with everything you said after this.

    In what way is LeBrons attitude like Garnett's? I just do not understand people's reasoning for hating on LeBron!

    We can sit around pointing out every little slip in Lebron's career, every choke, every mistake but at the end of the day HE IS GOOD AT BASKETBALL. Look at it the way a recruiter might. He is a freak of nature athleticly, has a dirty jump shot, can drive like no other, plays above the rim, is the leagues best defender, I could go on. But no, Lebron just doesn't have the power to win a team sport? C'mon man!

    Lebron is even starting to show he can play with pressure. This game he had the entire weight of the country on his shoulders. After the game he got a beer thrown at him and he just shrugged it off and kept going. He doesn't get the credit he deserves from all of that crap he gets.

    I'm not even a Lebron fan either, it's just Lebron haters are annoying trolls who have nothing better to do but cheer every time Lebron walks the wrong way. I mean how could so much hate build up for somebody that you have never met? Its pathetic.

    Rant over

    Top 5 player of all time. Hypothetically if you were going to play one game and had all the superstars to ever play in the gym at the same time, all in their primes, Lebron would be one of the first 5 picked.

    Things I've read on this board:

    Lowry > Rondo

    Parsons shuts down Durant

    Scola = Kevin Love

    SMH.

    LBJ is not a super star. He is a franchise cornerstone. That is bigger than a super star. That he has not won a ring yet is the GM's fault.
