    A simple yes or no question.

    There seems to be a lot of people on the board who think this is Morey's plan. There are also a lot of people here who routinely dismiss the idea as a pipe-dream.

    Let's all go on the record here in this thread. I propose that you cast your vote here and if you're wrong, you donate $2 to the tip jar.

    Personally, I think it will happen. We will make the best offer for Dwight, and Deron will follow.

    The truth is we are unlikely to acquire either of them and sadly Howard is more likely the Williams because Williams is definitely looking to go to a team he can co-star with another player.

    The plan is the same as last year, except don't deal with teams that are owned by the league: Trade too many assets for one star, use ensuing cap space to sign another, fill in the gaps with a whole bunch of low risk/high reward cheap contracts. If all things went to plan last year, we would have purportedly had a lineup of Gasol, Nene, Budinger, Lowry, and Lee with Lin, Patterson, and Parsons as backups. Perhaps we can use the same logic to trade for Howard, sign Williams, retain Parsons, Lee, and a few others, sign some cheap young guys and go to battle.
