Military rankings?

    I believe you're mistaken. Those are called mercenaries. They fight wars for profit.

    There is no honor in that, no matter how well you do on the cardio machines at Gold's.

    well most of these contract fighters are former Marines and Army special forces. They get out of the military and apply their training and job experience to receive a better pay check just like most Americans. I see nothing wrong with that.

    the few, the marines... does that ring a bell to you?

    have you ever heard of a navy who died in iraq?

    it's always marines... thus the few. ;)

    Not including reservists for Afghanistan:

    Air Force - 82
    Navy - 106
    Army - 1185
    Marines - 395

    The Iraq branch filter isn't working. Through 2/6/10, the Marines had 851 deaths to the Navy's 65 in Iraq.
