I didn't say that he doesn't want help, but he doesn't allow others to help him with his style of play. How can you explain that he had worse record in regular season with Miami than Cleveland? And when Wade was out Miami record was something like 13-1.

Sir, you clearly stated that he doesn't want any help #19 post.
The competition this season is highly competitive than his years in cleveland you cant really compare records from year to year basis. How can you see that his style of play don't need any help? This is getting nowhere sir im going to stop arguing

Idk, i wasn't in the thread as much because I would research my next pick more than read the thread.

I think I had one of the best drafted teams.

    Team Jamers
    PG - Rajon Rondo
    SG - Reggie Miller
    SF - LeBron James
    PF - Hakeem Olajuwon
    C - Bill Walton

    Bench:
    SG/SF - Michael Cooper
    PG - Kevin Johnson
    PF/C - Wes Unseld

    Team RocketsRed14
    PG - Jason Kidd
    SG/SF - Chris Mullins
    SF - Larry Bird
    PF - Kevin Mchale
    C - Robert Parish

    SG/PG - Joe Dumars
    C - Arvydas Sabonis
    PF - Otis Thorpe

OK, first thing we have to do is get the obvious out of the way.

Jamers: Dream is not a PF. He is a Center. He always played Center and he always thought of himself as a Center.

RocketsRed14: Since we are looking at these players in their prime, why do you have your best Center coming off the bench? And it is not Mullins, but Mullin. Your front office needs to get things straight to earn the respect of your players.

Now that we have that out of the way, let's move on.

PG: Kidd v. Rondo. I like Kidd. I like Rondo. I like Kidd a little better.

SG: If it were my choice, I would probably pick Mullin for my team over Miller. Still, I don't think Mullin has a clear-cut advantage over Reggie, who runs off screens like a maniac and is just a little clutch.

SF: Bird vs. Lebron. Eyeballing it, Lebron easy. Thinking about it, Bird. I think Lebron would probably win statistically, but Bird would win mentally. Bird was so cocky and such a trash-talker, I don't think it would take him long to figure out Lebron's mental weak spots and he would go there relentlessly. As someone else said, Bird wins the 4th quarters.

Center #1: Olajuwon over McHale. During Olajuwon's second year in the NBA he went over, under, around, and through McHale, Parrish, and Bird... sometimes all three on the same play. Same story here.

Center #2: I think prime Walton, as short as that was, is a pretty big advantage over prime Chief.

Bench: Team Jamers has a strong bench. In fact, I would probably start Dream at C with Unseld at PF and have Walton coming off the bench. I like Coop playing D against any of the opposing wings.

Team RocketsRed14 is pretty loaded with Sabonis, Dumars, and Thorpe. Probably the best 5 man frontline rotation I've seen so far.

The tough part about making this call is that you can't argue that one team is mentally weaker than the other. Dream and Miller are clutch. Bird and Dumars are clutch. Team Jamers has 5 guys that won championships and Team RocketsRed14 has 6.

I think Team RocketsRed14 best lineup is Dumars, Mullin, Bird, McHale, and Sabonis. Bird and Sabonis are exceptional passers and Mullin is quite good... you'd have three shooters playing off a high-post passing Sabonis and a low post black hole in McHale.

I think Team Jamers best lineup is Rondo, Cooper, James, Unseld, and Dream. Those three wings are all long and thievery. You don't really need Coop to score as much as negate one of the other scorers. McHale shoots over Unseld, but Unseld pushes out of his favorite spots and beats him up on the boards.

Ah, hell, I'm just killing time trying to decide. I'll go with Team Jamers. Bird counts for a lot and Sabonis is criminally underrated by American fans, but I just think Team Jamers has more 'special" players and would find a way to win. I also like Dream's influence on Lebron to limit the psych damage Bird would bring.

LOL, @ what rimrocker said about "mullins.

Honestly, I would have started sabonis, but I did draft parish earlier than I would have liked just to complete the big 3 fc and play them together.

Good luck in the next round Jam.
