wait, what? A_3P0 is not a Rockets' fan?

And did that owner of the Thunder say a basketball team united the state more than anything ever before?

I don't care much for the Heat but then again I resent OKC fans rooting against the Heat just because of Durant vs Lebron comparisons. Lebron vs Durant in the finals would be the greatest, why would you root against that??

Scott Brooks knows where he got it from. He knew his team would win from Clutch City.

Not sure if he would root for the Rockets against the Thunder in a conference finals.

Their is nothing else in Oklahoma..no other professional sports teams. They got nothing so what he said was not a surprise.

Hate Bennett all you want, but he gave the keys to the franchise to the right person - someone only 30 years old.

oh, and he stole a team from Seattle for us.

His interviews remind me of Bull Durham ... he's been coached. :)

I'll root for the Celtics/Heat simply because of Fisher.

Refs were dreadful in the second half.

Seriously? Just because the Thunder have been successful doesn't mean you should rag on the city.

Regardless of the Thunder being the only pro team or whatever, their fans haven't done anything to NOT deserve a basketball team.

Love how all the people who wanted the spurs to win are either pissed and mad the thunder won and hate the city and the fans or not posting at all.

I'm sure Sooner's football has united the state like never before, as well. I guess he is just talking pro sports???

    Uhhh how about no?

I don't understand how rooting for one team to win is supposed to mean that I hate the other team.

Amen. They should have zero haters. They deserve to win because that fanbase has nothing else. They deserve it because they built their team the right way.

Scottie Brooks was a good coach before this series. He became a great coach during this series.

The key to this series, in my opinion, was how Brooks handled Westbrook. He simply didn't allow the guy to come unraveled. Every time Westbrook got hot under the collar and started to get out of control, Brooks pushed Harden out to the top and kept Westbrook in the game but put him on the wing until he cooled down. He didn't bench the guy. He just took him off the ball and let him play off the ball until Westbrook cooled off and got his head back. In my humble opinion, that was a master stroke of coaching.

Brooks has always been a good X's and O's guy. But I saw him go to a different level in handling his players. How he adjusted and controlled them emotionally and psychologically was the beginning of him becoming a great coach. He's awesome.
