Spurs vs. Thunder - 2012 Western Conference Finals

Yup. The people blaming OKC's defense are missing the point. For the most part, these are shots you want the Spurs to take. Stephen Jackson threes from 25 feet with hands in his face. Tim Duncan shooting from 18-to-20 feet and Tony Parker taking a three. If you're the Thunder, you've done your job if that's the shot the Spurs take. They're just making them right now.

Sucks to watch, but I think the luck will even out as we go through four quarters. I still think the Thunder close it out tonight.

 

Great energy and focus from the Spurs, especially TP who was involved in 12/14 FGs.

OKC looked sluggish and got clobbered as a result. They have to start moving the ball on offense and start playing defense like they care.

 

I'm surprised that continuation counted.

But BOTH Millers suck.....can't stand his sister more though.

 

They have had a lot of open looks from passing - the shots just haven't gone down - making the assist total discrepancy more pronounced.

marv albert is thr real deadweight on the crew...he gets calls wrong all the time and seems to have no idea whats going on whenever a whistle blows

 

I'm pretty sure it counts as long as its after the gather.

 

Ton of nickel-and-dime calls away from the ball on OKC, while Harden can't get a whistle even when he attacks the bucket. And that might have been the worst continuation call I've ever seen (which, given the modern NBA, is saying something).

 

Really Stern wants a game 7? This is just pathetic. Its so annoying that is all that is beiing posted when the Spurs are playing insanely good basketball. I'm off.

The facts that the Spurs are playing insanely good basketball and that the officiating is very biased are not mutually exclusive. They both can be true (and are, tonight).

The team that's losing never looks like it is getting the calls

 

Spurs are running the drive and dish amazingly.

Thunder are trying, but SPurs are reading it almost perfectly.
