I truly am beginning to have concerns for Hightop's mental state. It takes a special kind of psychopath to convince themselves of such nefarious, underhanded ideas he’s accusing people of.

When he says stuff like "Die liberal scum" all the time. His faux outrage is duly noted.

    Get in line.

Wih all due respect to rhadamanthas, it's probably a good thing the NSA datamines the interwebs for early identification of potential domestic security threats.

You're accusing me of something that has no basis in reality. I would point out that Palin and Santorum are, themselves, Washington bureaucrats (or have at least attempted to be).

It's not the same thing. The ultra-insanely-wealthy (usually not the ones who actually earned the wealth, but those who inherited it and then earned more from their excessively-privileged position) have been acting in a way that is truly, and dangerously, harmful for the rest of us - and they're doing it solely for their own benefit.

The country, and the world, would truly be a better place if they were no longer in it.

This subject is political to you. It's not political to me. I don't oppose the influence of the ultra-uber-wealthy in the political system for a political reason. I oppose it because it's destroying democracy.

If I was subverting the government of you, your friends, your family, and your entire society and making you suffer in the process just to satisfy my own rapacious greed, then I would expect you to threaten my life.

Thadeus, I enjoy your posts for their wit and verve. However, in ths instance, please tone down your passion. I gave you a gentle punch to show this line is demeaning to your stature. I am sorry to see you pursue it. I've seen my share of chopped up people. I hope you never do.

Hightop, I recommend you also pull in your horns. I avoided the thread in general because it is in poor taste. I am no saint by any stretch of the imagination, but this line of morbidity is senseless. I hope the mods put an end to it.

He says you're one toke over the line Thaddy.

Let's just ask, for a Hightop thread discussion purposes only, if someone was crazy enough to commit a political murder in the US in 2012, who would be the most effective target? I'd think it would be Chief Justice Roberts. The nomination and Senate approval process would be delicious.

(not intended as a threat Mr. NSA man)

This person espouses the essence of evil Liberal thought (that is eerily equal to that of the Nazis etc) and hardly anyone here has the courage to stand up to it. What a shame.

I amended my response to thadeus to include Hightop. This line of bickering is non-productive.

It's not the job of the citizenry. It's the job of the Secret Service and FBI. If you feel strongly about it, lodge a complaint against the twits and twitterers with the proper authorities, not here.

Uh...I have to point out the obvious and say this is the best case of the pot calling the kettle black.

I've lost count how many times you have condoned the murder of socialists. I take it up to be a cute little thing now, tbh, like oh, there's hightop with another one of those LET'S KILL THE COMMIES posts. If he tried the weed he so ardently loves maybe this s**t wouldn't happen so often.

    srsly

    LOL at ToyCen reference

I can't even bring myself to bring the pathetic death threats. It's comedy at its' finest.

    Keep it up hightop!

It's not like he advocated blowing up a school like you did, right?

The funny thing is hightop started this thread as if it was a big deal, us "intolerant" liberals have pretty much seen 2* worse than that from him on any given day and not given a s**t, tbh.

Not much more than thadeus advocating that the Koch brothers should be shot, and ignoring that a democracy or really any society cannot survive without the rule of law.

Well, they are actively engaged in an all out effort to obstruct the greater good of the people for their own greed and you can't out spend them in a battle of words. Violence is the last resort of the disenfranchised.

Have you considered writing thriller novels?

Pelican Brief (assassination of justices) / The Manchurian Candidate (killing of a president) -- not a novel idea for a novel.
