I always used to see a bunch of people going to popeyes on Travis, especially when they had the Tuesday special of two legs/thighs for $1. There was always at least one person that had some popeyes while they were waiting for the metro in downtown. Facts of life, you only learn on the street...

Bush's (on the cup). Excellent chicken chain in central and west Texas area. That picture does not do the taste of their chicken justice.

 

Church's

 

overall definitely popeyes. More specifically, popeyes for chicken and french fries but church's gets credit for those biscuits.

Harold's Chicken, then Frenchy's, then KFC or Popeyes. No thank you to Church's.

 

Babes has single handidly caused me to soften my stance on Dallas.

(that and the fact that my wife is from Dallas).


Babe's would kick ass in other cities too.

 

Up here in Seattle, Ezell's has the best chain fried chicken. I don't go to any of the places listed in the poll.

My vote goes to Mac's Wine Dive but the BBQ Inn is supposed to be very good as well.
