I'm wondering the same thing about Houston. The T-Wolves would have some attractive pieces, next to Dwight. If they keep Love and Rubio. At least, he'd be going to a pretty good roster. Still rumors mean very little, and for some odd reason Dwight Howard has not expressed any interests into coming to Houston.
As i have mentioned before, Hoopsworld writers are fans like us here on Clutchfans. Their posts deserve to be read just like ours. They also have the same sources.

Im not saying I dont believe you as you might very well have a great relationship with members of the Timberwolves org. I really have no clue. What I do know is that the website Hoopsworld has spun off speculation enough times that is common knowledge and sold to their readers as if its gospel "sourced" information enough to destroy his credibility completely. I can speak from my experience with the people I know within the Mavericks organization. I (am forced to)live in the DFW area and actually I know more than a few people that work within the Mavs org in various roles. One of them happens to be a beat writer too. The Mavs aren't really a team that plays things close to the tee, and I will tell you first hand that those people within the org. really dont know that much because alot of times there really isn't much to know to begin with beyond whats already reported. Getting details from an agent is a totally different thing, but they can also be misleading to the reporter that spills the "sourced" info. This is how the national media guys typically get their info. Unless the front office purposefully gives a beat writer information for a story for a certain purpose, alot of times what they and alot of the people within the organization know is nothing more than the speculation that me or you know. So if I went around quoting my friends that work for the Mavs as "sources within the org." I would be highly misleading. This is what some websites like Hoopsworld do, and it makes you roll your eyes every time you hear the word "source." Maybe Minnesota really is in preliminary talks with Houston and Orlando to aquire Martin, but if you hear something like "Adelman likes Martin, so therefore they must be looking at aquiring Martin"... to me that screams opinion and speculation and not real legit sourced information. Sounds more like water cooler talk to me because if there is a trade this big on the docket, I would guarantee you that enough agents would be involved for the national media guys to report it very, very quick.

Just want to point out that I didn't mean to imply that the 3 team trade I proposed was in discussion that was just my thought on the fact that minny did have interest in martin. Also, I agree with you that posting a beat writers thoughts as news is probably not the best thing to do...and probably does not have much more credibility then the rest of the rumors we hear. I was really just wanting to make a predication/proposal based on the rumors that I heard going around.
No doubt. If Vegas had odds on it(which they actually might) I would put money on Martin being a T-Wolve by the end of next February. Seems like a great fit. FYI- side note- those friends I have within the Mavs org. actually think that Orlando is going to entertain a trade for Howard with a package involving Marion, Roddy B & the contract of Lamar Odom. I take what they say with a grain of salt nowadays.
It's weird to me, how people are still criticizing LeBron James, yet want to trade for a guy who might be 10x worse and may not even resign with the Rockets. Losing picks and possibly future starters in the process.
Why not? He would bring tons of fans and revenue back into that arena. Even if it meant for a season. They'd also be one of the best in the west which is something they have not been for quite some time. They could offer something along the lines of Williams, Pek, Barea, and Miller's expiring for Howard which is better than what we could offer.

Why would you want Pau Gasol after seeing him perform in the playoffs? He is downright terrible plus he's not getting any younger. The Rockets need young talent, no need to go after older players that are on the downhill.
