I'll say it again Lebron = Oscar Robertson. I think he'll eventually win a ring but it will be as a sidekick not a spearhead.

How much more help does this guy need SMH. Fourth year in a row he's about to bow out while his team has had homecourt advantage

if lebron was a rapper, he'd be lil wayne. sure, he leads in record sales, number one songs, hangs out with my fave singer robin thicke, and gets to appear on ESPN with his nerdy glasses to give us his expertise. but at the end of the day lil' wayne is no 2pac, biggie, dmx, big L or any member of the Wu.

Witnesses of Lebron either have a short memory or never witnessed our heroes from the 90's, who were pulling the same numbers at an older age, and winning more with less, in a man's league.
I guess I was just spoiled by watching pure greatness during my youth.
Witnesses, beware of false prophets who promise you rings.

( this whole thread reminds me of the scene with Vanilla thunder and the little boy in the movie, Bad teacher)

What help? Dwayne Wade is having THE worst playoff run of his career. Bosh has only played in 7 playoff games.

Outside of Olajuwon and Jordan in the 90s or Bird/Magic in the 80s. I cannot think of one player that you are talking about that won alot of titles with barely any help surrounding them.

    Let's not be revisionist here.

He's putting up 32/10/4 on 50%fg v. Boston. He guards everybody and anybody on defense. What more do you want him to do? Please list them. That's MORE than an MVP effort. That's a Herculean effort. He's been by far the best player in the entire playoffs.

Do you even watch? Bosh HAS NOT PLAYED for all but 14 minutes in this series. Wade hasn't been himself all playoffs.

    Elevate how?

But you may be right. It's time for him to ignore his damn teammates and just go solo like game 4 v. the Pacers, and just pray Wade shows up. He has to win this game 6 ALL BY HIMSELF.

You can blame Lebron for last year. Or the year before. But don't blame him this year. He's done everything and anything humanly possible to help win a basketball game. 1 guy can't do it all. This is eerily similar to his 09 run where he put up 35/7/7 in his playoff run losing in the conference finals to the Magic. Instead, this year, he's putting up 30/10/5

^let's not act like chalmers is a bum. Bosh being there does little to prevent garnett going garnett. however, bosh being there takes those shots away from Chalmers. If not for Chalmers, who does not shy away, this series would have already been over.
Had bosh been there from the start, the series would still be 3-2. I know the heat are awesome and all but they still have to play with one ball. =/

That's poor and simplisitic basketball logic. Having Bosh "healthy" would open up the interior space, which would allow Wade to be a more effective and consistent offensive player. Having Wade (and Bosh) play well is more important than having Chalmers play well.

Allowing Chalmers to do more, while Wade do less (b/c Wade can't penetrate due to Boston's lack of respect for the Heat's big men) is what Boston wants.

So no, Bosh healthy playing wouldn't have the Heat down 2-3.

I get so tired of people parroting Lebron's reasons for "The Decision" show as a reason for hating him. Dude has hundreds of millions of dollars, which he can spend or invest in anyway he pleases, instead listening to nobodies who can only dream of the kind of money, attention, and appeal to the opposite sex that he has. If "The Decision" show was so deplorable and immoral, then why did so many people watch the show? Why would ESPN invest in such a trashy venture? Everyone in the world could have hate for Lebron, yet I will continue to say there's no logical, human reason for hating such person. I've seen much worse from people, especially athletes. Let's see beaten a wife, a female companion, a male companion, teammate, own children, a random person in the street to drug dealing to sleeping with underage girls/prostitutes to dog-fighting to supporting some rather shady people or companies. The LeBron haters don't realize that they are perpetuating the same energy or approach the Lebron hype machine, it's only a hate campaigns.

Most of all, who really cares what another grown sdoes with his money, his time, his exploits, or his haughty personality. I've gotten the feeling on this board, sometimes that I am sharing this place with a bunch of queens, instead of bunch red blooded men.

Yes, who can possibly expect a guy who is labelled the chosen one....whose fans call themselves witnesses...who hosts hour long tv specials to announce his contract decisions...who claimed his team would win not 1...not 2...not 3..championships....who can expect that guy to win on a team like the Miami Heat? It's outrageous!!

Oh good LORD, are we not allowed to hate anyone in sports anymore? What about the mavs? the jazz? Can we still hate them without being called queens? Or should we learn to appreciate them in order to be considered red blooded men?

One of the main reasons I hate LeBron James is because he plays for a team besides the Houston Rockets. Is that so hard to fathom?
