I expect both these series to go 7 games.

I put this loss on Spol for not playing Bosh more and the whole MIA defense for not showing up in the 4th quarter and not running back to get into their set defense. No hussle, no win.

Bosh had a minute limit. They should have saved it till the end.

Minute limit of 25 minutes. He didn't play 25 minutes. Spoelstra said "it wouldn't be fair [to Chris] to throw him in with 3 minutes left."

Man, I've been critical of the watch-ability of the NBA over the last few years, but that was one of the most entertaining games I've seen in a long time.

When Miami went up 57-50, I thought the game was over. Next thing you know it was 65-60 Boston.

I really hate both of these teams (am I allowed to say that without being accused of being jealous?), but that was a helluva game. Can't wait until Game 6.

Not true, or overstated. Houston fans rally behind a winner. If this game had been in the Toy Box, you couldn't have heard yourself think. The "flaw" in Houston is that they tend to sit back and shrug until the team wins in the playoffs. And big success in the playoffs can carry over into the next season, fueling season ticket sales. Sure, many of us here (and many Houstonians live outside of the city. I've lived in Austin for 30+ years now) are rabid fans, who back the team win or lose, with attending games driven more by affordability than anything else (that, or being out of town, like I mentioned a moment ago).

Miami's fans are far worse. I think that after the pageant of "The Big Three" descending on South Beach, they felt entitled. They assume victory against a bunch of "has beens" and "no names." Never assume, chumps. Never assume.

i don't hate any of the teams in the playoffs (indifference is more the word) but i agree, these series have been great. so many storylines and legendary individual performances. both series going 0-2 and then three in a row. when you just watch the games to enjoy nba playoff basketball for what it is, and you're not invested in any one team (or a bet ) it's awesome entertainment. hope they both go 7...though i could definitely stomach watching the spurs lose tonight.

I dont' know. Maybe it's just me. I can't really enjoy a competitive sport event without rooting for or against one side. I wonder if anybody can manage to remain completely neutral when they watch a competition. I mean, I find myself subconsciously root for or against some contestants while watching TV game shows like Jeopardy.

Well, as Rocket fans we should be used to that by now...

See, this is why it's so much fun to hate LeBron and the heat. In a way, I'm almost hoping they pull out the next 2 games just so I can root against them in the Finals. Why? Because it's fun! :)

What is that supposed to mean? If Bosh was healthy and the game is on the line "it wouldn't be fair to ... throw him in with 3 minutes left"???

    Bosh excuse? Bah!!!

A team of front runners who can't handle the heat. The Heat are great when their train is rolling.

Women have the innate ability to be soccer moms and root for all the kids.

Don't hate on each other. When the game is over, win or lose, "Good Effort...Good Job" and everyone gets a ring.

I guess it's fair to send them home early for the summer though?

And did they mix up the audio on the good job good effort video? the boy calls out Ray allen in the end....i think they were playing audio from the Celtics' tunnel.

LOL, maybe in my case, but i think plutoblue would beg to differ...

the rockets make me miserable. even if they were in the playoffs, winning a series...i have way too much pessimism and anxiety built up to fully enjoy watching them play in the postseason.

the extended relief from caring is nice. (though i do hope okc wins...howard schultz keeps me from actively rooting for the thunder)
