Has LeBron lost some of his halfcourt playmaking ability? He seems a bit stiffer... maybe its just the Celtics defense, idk, what do u guys think?
In the history of sports, I cannot recall any player from any league at any time in history that has as much hate as Lebron is getting. And I mean TRUE hate. Bo Jackson was probably the guy you could compare to Lebron in terms of athletic ability and he is a paul bunyon type of player. Maybe McEnroe was hated as much. The williams sisters. Mayweather. Dan Mario didn't win a thing, but no hate. Peyton barely won a championship. Arod and his HUGE contract in new york didn't get this much hate. Lebron has been under the microscope since he was a kid. The only people I can really compare him to is like: Micheal Jackson and the tabloids, Britney Spears. Guys like that.
KD goes 1-6 or something in the 1st half and his team is in the game. If lebron goes 1-6 the heat are getting blown out. People expect something from lebron that maybe other than jordan no one has done, and even still jordan's team got to the ECF W/O him. The more people are hating on him the more likable he becomes in my eyes because how absurd the expectation for him are.
People are just expecting to see "the chosen one" with "arguably the best trio to ever play the game of basketball" to win "not 2, not 3, not 4, not 5, not 6" championships.
Lebron fanboys label him "The King", "The Chosen One", "Magic Johnson & Oscar Robinson combo", and yet when ppl criticize him for not being able to win, they say you demand too much. I think every legend has one thing in common: the ability to elevate his game and do whatever it takes to win. Sorry, fanboys, I don't see it from Lebron whom you think is the best thing happened to basketball. However, I don't hate Lebron, why should I? It is just a game and he is a pretty good basketball player. He is just not THAT great as you fanboys make him to be.
no one's fault but his own really, if he didn't want to play for a team where he's required to have absurdly high usage rate, he could have picked several other teams.
KD can go 1-6 in 1st half and his team would still be in the game, because that's his game. He doesn't need ball in his hands to be efficent. Lebron is primarily playmaker and scorer. And the fact is, he has to be in order to have his historic season. That's his advantage, but also weakness when he is playing bad, because nobody else is used to be the one who is dominating the ball.
This is it exactly. The hype from the "witnessess" about the "chosen one" making "the Decision" and talking about "not 1...not 2...not 3..." created alllll the backlash/hate you see. All of it. It's a reaction to that. When Olajuwon and the 95 Rockets won their second consecutive championship, Costas finished the broadcast that night saying: "Hakeem Olajuwon has gone beyond All Star or even MVP status to rank now among the very greatest players who have ever played the game at any position." He was dominate...but it was winning titles that put him in that discussion. That put it over the top. Bottom line...Lebron needs to win rings. Probably more than one if he wants to legitimize the hype around him that he absolutely positively profits from and helped create. Going out with a team that looks like they're being outworked right now doesn't help.
It has almost nothing to do with his game It is his attitude That is what people don't get Same with The Maverick's own . . . Mark Cuban. He hasn't murdered anyone but d*mn he is a cocky SOB If you got it Flaunt it Those who don't got Will hate you for rubbing it in their face Folx like sayings like: Humble but Hungry Lebron seems neither humble nor hungry <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/nD9BHImbwcQ" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> "You gotta be hungry lebron . . . I'm talking about stomack growling" - Puppet Kobe Rocket River
I kinda feel bad for the heats for some reason, yall feeling some empathy towards them at this point??? They might never win a championship...
There was another amazing player who put up great numbers but could never quite get it done in the playoffs due to his "inferior team". this guy's name was tracy mcgrady. if lebron wants to be tmac then fine. ppl hate on his lack of "success" because he has all the talent in the world and he seems to take it all for granted. if he had half the drive guys like bird, dream, mj, and kobe had then he would have brought 2 championships to cleveland by now and would actually be deemed somewhat worthy of the title "king". he was a good coach away from those championships regardless of the players around him. mike brown and spoelstra are not those coaches.
one more thing, every fan of basketball and fan of teams that are not LA and New York should be cheer on the collapse of Miami. Today's divas have it set in their mind that they can only win a championship if they play with their homies in a specified city where they can grow their "brand". Because you know, It's not like the internet has been invented and kids in Manchuria can watch your games via a web stream. If you're game is as awesome as the tattoo in your back,or the "S" in your arm suggests, you can win a championship anywhere. On a good note, after next season, the places where the divas can tag team each other will be severely limited.
