Pierce one of the most underrated SFs of all time.. Oldtics are clutch in close games. I think the old age and experience makes them calm in these situations.
Rockets fans at games aren't much better either. I'm not saying they're as bad as Heat fans... but Houston fans aren't that great either when it comes to basketball even when we're winning. I'm talking about fans at the arena btw.
I've said this b4, as lucky as phil jackson was, those players were just as lucky to have him. Spoelstra has been terrible really since the indy series and really all yr. Dumars fired carisle at the right time. If riley is smart, he will fire spoelstra win or lose. He's not getting better as a coach.
If the Miami Heat have no heart, that is exactly what will happen. But if they play with gusto on Thursday, they will either win to force game 7 or lose a close one. Boston is incapable of blowing out a good team because they can't play strong for 48 minutes. If this series goes 7 and finishes on Saturday, how much energy will either team have for the Finals?
The Heat is one of the best teams in the regular season, and they're in the CF for their respective conferences. The Rockets are literally average. Best of the worst, and worst of the best. There is absolutely no reason for the Heat fans to not be excited about their team - especially since they have Bosh / James / Wade.
How much of it is Spoelstra vs. a very flawed roster? I'm not defending the guy but the Heat are weaker than last year and these are the results. Last year may end up being the Heat's best swing at the plate.
LOL! Kudos to Pierce, wonder if that's how the majority of the NBA players feel about the Heat/Lebron?
If the Heat lose this series, they will become living proof that it is still about the "team," not just a few great players. I am amazed that the tired, old Celtics are sticking to them.

Didn't Pierce say something like "We were taking our talent to the South Beach" after they beat the Superfriends the first time last year?

In a Conference Finals game 5...are your freaking kidding me. I have never seen ANY fans as quiet as the MIA fans this game in such a crucial game.
I've already stated once before Miami is one of the worst sports cities in this country, hell.. it isn't even a sports city. Most people don't give a **** about their teams and the sports knowledge there is really pathetic. All I meant was, Rockets fans haven't done a great job either with basketball. I would say though that the Heat fans are far worse.
