This seems like the 13th/14th round of a heavyweight title fight from long ago where both sides are so tired and hazy the punches landed don't even hurt that much. Maybe the Celtics will just fall down and go away.
The Celts should be smart enough by now to realize you back off of LeBron and stop the drive at all costs. His jumper is dead because he's tired. Same exact thing for Wade. It will be a miracle for the Celts to win this but the Heat are running on fumes too. I think the two OT games (esp game 4) have knocked the wind out of both sides. Probably won't be much quality basketball left in this series. Too bad there isn't an extra day off.
James Jones fake tough guy. Both teams look exhausted. Difference is Rondo's passing to get easy shots. How was that not a foul on Mike Miller?
They are some weird ass blown calls in this series. The Wade tackle on Pierce last game. The Pietrus on Lebron game before and now Mike Miller on Pietrus. Is the Celtics D really good or is this just lol Miami?
Miami has no defense. Boston getting better looks. Rondo gets credit for a lot of that, but a lot is horrible lane defense by Miami. Plus, Miami turning it over more. PTs on TOs is 15 for Boston, 5 for Miami.
Agreed on the odd officiating in general in the series. and I've asked myself that just about every game of the eastern side of the playoffs. We'll find out in the finals vs. SA or OKC, but /shrug.
It really is... and they really do spend too much time complaining. What I also don't understand is why Spoelstra is sitting Wade when Bosh is in the game. Isn't the problem this series for the Heat is that the Celtics are double teaming Wade? Wouldn't playing Bosh when Wade and Lebron are on the floor be a better solution to that problem? I don't get it.
If the Heat are gonna play like this, superstars be damned, the Celtics would make for a more entertaining finals.
It's a repeat of game 4 in reverse. Can they muster up the energy to gut out a tough win at home? That is the question. When they tied it at 60 on KG's and-1, the Celts showed a little bounce in their step like they were ready to go in for the kill. Then they scored 5 more in-a-row. Exhaustion is killing the Heat on both ends of the floor.
