He reformed student aid. You define that as an accomplishment? srsly? You don't even mention what the change is or whether it has helped. Unreal

I define accomplishments as having 'good' results not 'ill'. My definition may be wrong though.

No actually it would be pretty extensive. The only problem is that they would be mostly progressive policies.

Romney did set up a pretty good health care system in Massachusetts that was very similar to what Obama accomplished on a nationwide level.

Eighty Percent Of Al-Qaeda No. 2s Now Dead

    FEBRUARY 1, 2006

    WASHINGTON, DC

The Pentagon announced Monday that 80 percent of Osama bin Laden's seconds-in-command have been eliminated. "Nearly 1,600 al-Qaeda leaders ranked number two have been wiped out," Lt. Col. Mark Allison said. "That leaves only 400 of Osama bin Laden's right-hand men in the organization." Following the apparent failure to kill bin Laden's No. 2 man Ayman al-Zawahri in a missile strike on a Pakistani border town on Jan. 13, American forces intensified the search for al-Qaeda second-in-command Ahmed Al-Zahnami, or, failing that, No. 2 man Amman al-Zaharani, or No. 2 man Ahmed al-Zafarani.

Obama gets no credit unless he went there and pulled the trigger himself.

He gets no credit for making it a priority to get him from the start of his admin. He gets no credit for basically invading Pakistan to get him, something he was criticized for by republicans. He gets no credit for changing the mission details to add more more helicopter. And he gets no credit for going against his advisors recommendations - including from the Pentagon to actually do the raid.

Ridiculous. Mitt Romney would make the same call? Mitt Romney wouldn't even have had the chance to for the same reason Bush didn't.

I think Bush accomplished a lot in his presidency as well. He took us in a radically new direction in our relationship with the Islamic world that has had and will continue to have a monumental impact on the future of our country. Some results will be good and some bad, and historians centuries from now will still be talking about what Bush did and whether it was wise.

As a student of history, I find the idea that we can make a list right now of things Obama did that had a postive effect and not debate it to irrelevance to be laughable. We don't agree now on whether the accomplishments of Ronald Reagan were really accomplishments and if they were really his in any case. And, we're supposed to do that with a president still in office? It's a joke.

What you can do is look at legislation he signed and administrative actions he took and see that he really has put his stamp on the country and has made fundamental changes to how this country operates. He's done stuff. We will see -- and argue about -- whether that was good or bad, on balance.

    OMFG INFLATION IS SOARING!!!!

Oh wait, let's look at the historical trend back to 1990:

Cowardly way of printing money? Have you even seen Europe lately? Austerity isn't exactly the flavor of the month, maybe the ruined careers of many politicians.

So you are basically saying that an accomplishment for a President is "America's Youth Being More Educated", yet you have no way of measuring it.

Please run for Congress immediately. You would fit right in.
