We have it good compared to the rest of the world. What's your point? That I shouldn't complain as long as I am paying less than $9 a gallon?

Yup and he stopped a global depression, passed a health care reform act, saved the u.s. auto industry, put the vice grip on Al Qaeda, and much much more. I'd say that was a productive two years before the republicans shut down the govt.

That was truly an epic smackdown. As BigTexx is fond of saying about others, he needs to exit gracefully with his tail between his legs. He has been thoroughly exposed, defeated, and shamed. How absolutely embarrassing, BigTexx- ya likin' them apples, pud?

You make the same mistake as mark. These aren't accomplishments. Accomplishments would be positive results steming from signed legislation. Spending tax payer money:

is not an accomplishment. Americas youth being more educated is an accomplishment.

Only big government liberals would define success/accomplishments as spending tax payer money or signing legislation. Completely highlights how brainwashed Obama supporters are.

Test scores are how it's usually done, but that system has its flaws.

spending money does not equate to educating kids.

It doesn't take any courage or brilliance to throw a bunch of tax payer money at a problem. That's why your list isn't of accomplishments (though I'm sure Obama pats himself on the back for them).

Legislation signed are quantifiable things and are the tangible catalyst for changes. Whether the effects are true or not, or good or bad will always be up for debate, so it'd be utterly pointless and even counter-productive to put a list of those up in this forum.

Besides that, the accusation of the OP is not that Obama did the wrong things (an understandable accusation) or ineffectual things, but that he did nothing at all for good or ill. And that is obviously complete BS.
