Should you tell a pastor how to manage his Facebook app privacy settings?

It cracks me up when people don't realize that they have given certain FB apps permission to automatically post their recent video-watching activity... and the videos, now posted to their timeline, are clearly not representative of the persona they want other people to see.

Like a Pastor who watches "**** Fat Girls Who Think They're Hot Say" or my ultra-conservative 60-something uncle who watched "HOT NEW Kate Upton Dance!!!". LOL! It's not that I think the videos are bad at all... I just know that they wouldn't want people to know they watched that stuff. They would be very embarrassed... yet the videos are sitting there on their timeline for the world to see that they've watched them.

I find it hilarious, but I want to help them at the same time. So what's the appropriate response?

    1) Comment on the video publicly and say "It looks like your account has been hacked! Delete this video and change your password right away!"
    2) Private message them on how to change and manage their app privacy settings - and explain why.
    3) Let it go. They'll figure it out.
    4) Other???

    5) Private message: "Hello, Pastor [name]. Are you aware that when you watch any video on [skankyplacedotcom], other people can see that you've watched it? I am just wondering if you knew, because I noticed it... "

Let them figure it out on their own after you've shed light. Don't make them do anything. Don't tell them to do anything. If they don't figure it out, either they are doing it on purpose, it's not them, or they just don't care.

Wait for it to sink in.

You've done well in asking about it.

you should definitely tell them. pastors are human like everyone else and fight the same temptations everyone else does. letting them know that what they do is seen not by just God but also their church members is very important in helping them.

I have someone on my list that post a bible verse every day. The other day some app that post which video's he watches showed that he watched, "Fine thick woman shakes that a$$". Someone replied back to it saying "are you serious?" Freaking hilarious.

lol.... I think FB should be kicked in the Gonads for allowing such crap. Such a horrible privacy setting should not even be allowed to be set, especially not as a default setting.

By default, it always asks you if you would like this to show up. Even after you view a video with the defaults as public, you can hide it from viewing by selecting "do not show" or "allow only myself to view this" after it shows up.

I always fear of accidentally clicking "like" when watching some p*rn, would be so embarassing.

Are those always accurate? Or could they just be hacked?

Is there an easy way to delete all FB activities? Or do you have to do that one day at a time?

I only watch mainstream p*rn, but still. Got family and everything on facebook, don't want them to see "likes Jada Fire Big Wet Asses Scene..." or "Big Butt Oil Orgy".

I don't mean to help you out, but if you insist on watching "non-mainstream pr0n", consider SEPARATE BROWSERS (IE for all FB stuff, FireFox or Safari or even Chrome for all your "separate-from-family" stuff) or separate PCs for that, and configure it to never remember anything.

CTRL+Shift+N on Chrome=p*rn Mode. Doesn't save any cache or cookies, deletes the complete history when you close it. Best browser feature ever.

I feel the oil highlights the body and looks great. Doesn't have to be about rear ends, just about the wet-factor.

I hate being at random websites and see my facebook profile pic show up at the bottom. I'm not inclined to drop facebook altogether, but that's too invasive.
