Spurs didn't deserve to win this one. Crafty veteran plays included Parker flopping hard to draw the offensive foul on Westbrook and Manu running into Perkins to foul him out. Thankfully being wily does not always mean being better.

    OKC vs. Spurs series:

    Game 1 & 2: OKC under 20 assists
Game 3,4,5: OKC over 20 assists

Coincidence? Glad to see Westbrick is passing the ball more and isnt chucking as much.

I dont understand durant being so passive at the end of this game, he was just standing there at the corner 3 point line while westbrook or harden goes one-on-one...

Im not sure who to blame for this...but okc got lucky some of harden 3s fell or they woulda lost this game.

He was 9-24, and still almost lost the game, singlehandedly.

Congratulations to the Thunder. I never thought they'd come back from 0-2. Still don't think it's over. I have no trouble imagining SA winning up there and coming back home and closing them out in 7. However, I do have a deeper respect for OKC. Durant and Harden are the best ballers on that team. Westbrook is still the weak link. If Parker dogs him in game 6 like he dogged him the last 5 minutes of game 5, Westbrook will crack up. But the difference is Brooks is not lettiing it happen. The minute Westbrook starts getting out of control, Brooks calls time-out and resets with Harden at the top.

This is the championship series. There is no comparison watching these games with the pace of the ball movement all over the court compared to dribble drive and dish in the East. Boston looks like they're swimming in peanut butter and Miami has Mutt and Jeff and that's it. Don't see either team being able to touch either one of these teams.

Ibaka has taken his game up. Harden has taken his game up. Congrats to them. This may be the changing of the guard in the West. I'll still have to see it to believe it.

At the end of the day, the team with the most talents in the NBA won the game after they almost choked it away due to inexperience. Again it proves that talents win no matter what.

Wasn't wrong in OKC prediction yet. Predicted Thunder in 4 vs. Mavs, Thunder in 5 vs. Lakers and Thunder in 6 vs. Spurs.

A win is a win, even if there was a bit of luck involved. Game 6 is a new game and they are back at home, they better close it out otherwise I don't see them winning another game in SA.

WB played very well. 23pts, 12 asts, 4 stls, 4 rebs, etc but his TOs and bricks in the 4th quarter were terrible. He did hit the one jumper late but Harden and KD bailed him out.

CoolGuy, take my word for it: When Harden gets it cookin' he's just as good as KD. Since the Spurs were totally focusing on denying KD the ball, it was the right decision. Too many times in the past OKC will run 20 seconds off the shot clock in crunch time trying to get KD the ball and they end up throwing up a wild shot. Brooks is doing this about one-year too late. Better late than never.

Scott Brooks has the easiest job in the NBA.

brb every play is iso ball
brb no adjustments (thabo doesn't count)
brb 3 straight top 5 picks

The Spurs not going to just go down without a fight in OKC. The Thunder need to close it out at home in game 6 because they are not going to win another game at SA.

Yeah today he was back to his Westbrick self, but by now the passing that had started in game 3 has made OKC able to withstand Westbrick's chucking periods. Something happened between games 2 & 3 made Westbrick realize he shouldn't chuck that much and it allowed other players on the team to shine (Ibaka, Thabo being the most prominent). In games 3 & 4 Westbrick only took 10 and 15 shots respectively and didnt score more than 20 points..it's like he realized passing the ball around and keeping the defense guessing makes your offense better (GASP WHAT).
