I'd be surprised if the Cubs passed on Almora. If Boras is one of the reasons for Appel's slide, he should cut him a personal check. Edit- There goes Almora.

This just hurts Appel, this isn't teaching Boras anything. Boras will make his money on the back end. There is always one guy who gets the shaft because of his antics but his antics pay off in the long run for him because he pulls the same crap for every player he represents. It always pays off in the long run, for him, personally.
Crazy to think after years of zero Top 100 players in the Minors, we might have 6 next year. Correa, Cosart, Folty, Santana, Singleton, and Springer. That's not counting possible prospects from Wandy and Myers trades. Quick turnaround for our system.
