    Appels problem is.thay.his pitchin approach exposes the pit hes he tthrows, which is why he doeant dominate as much as his stuff should... if college batters can why cant mlb players?

    I don't doubt slotting played into the pick, but now Appel is dropping quite a bit. It seems that the Astros aren't the only team to not be so hot on Appel.

    Understandable... look at the last catcher they picked.

    Keith Law thinks that the Cubs are going with Albert Almora and the Padres with Max Fried (Lucas Giolito's teammate).

    If I were Appel I would be supremely pissed if that were true, and would immediately fire his dumb@$$. What, he wants to promote a Strasburg/Appel tag team? How does that help Mark?
