where do you rank pietrus purposely grabbing lebron at midcourt to stop a fastbreak and the refs not calling it in game 3? i mean the celtics were actually trying to get called for a foul and the refs wouldn't have any of it. and it would have been 2 free throws. what about wade getting fouled by rondo on that fastbreak today where he had already gathered and taken a step and they didn't call it a shooting foul?
That was so hilarious. Heat scored anyway on that play IIRC. Letter of the law it wasn't a shooting foul. Plus Wade probably would miss the FTs haha
No, I think it's easier for Lebron to guard whoever because they don't easily call foul on him. Oh yeah, everybody knows MJ got superstar treatment. So good example you gave.
I have no problem with you being a Celts fan and we need more people like you in the NBA Dish. Just don't troll, act like a jerk, ridicule the Rockets in any way and everything will be fine. The insights you can give from following the Celts closely are welcome.
People in here really arguing about who is a fan of what. Who cares. I don't think being a fan or not being a fan of a team makes a difference in your life.
I like the Celtics. I root for teams in matchups. I would root for the Rockets in every matchup. But if the Celtics are playing the Lakers I root for Boston.
i keep hearing people say wade is above criticism because he has a ring but wade needs to stop getting a pass for something he did 6 years ago. it's not 2006 anymore. dude needs to pick it up. without bosh the heat need both lebron and wade to have big games.
A better comparison would be for Pippen who guarded the other team's best perimeter player from 1991 and on.
Tom Haberstroh @tomhaberstroh .@WindhorstESPN reports that unless there's a setback, expect Chris Bosh to be activated for Gm 5.
Big 3 from Lebron to tie the game in regulation. He's not as scared as last season to take a big shot. But without Bosh, they need consistent big performances from Lebron and Wade to win
That's a tangible aspect of the game that you can keep track off. Battier is all about "intangibles," i.e. things that don't show up in the boxscore.
