I am talking about getting stronger, not fatter. He gained more than 20 pounds of muscles since he joined the league. He has to continue to work on that.

That's Brooks' coaching record so far. Improved winning percentage every year. 2 consecutive WCFs. Last year's loss was to the eventual champion. If they lose in this WCF, it will probably be to this year's champion.

So, they win in spite of the coach but lose when he screws up? Bulls**t. Scott Brooks, as the coach, deserves credit for their record the past 3 years. Like I said, people get an erection for coaches like Pop and PJ without acknowledging that they were kinda, sorta dealt a good hand- duh!

I think the OK Thunder won tonight's game.. In the end that's all that matters tonight.

I just want the Supper-Friends team to suffer and not win... As great a team as Miami is right now I do not wish them to win, right out of the box.. PERIOD!

zzpot... are the Spurs the team or is it the Thunder?? I want a team in the West to KICK THE LIVING SHYT out of Miami if they make it to the finals

Ranking Scott Brooks, Erik Spoelstra and the Best Young Coaches in the NBA

    1. Scott Brooks, Oklahoma City Thunder

Brooks has put together a 174-125 career record in four seasons in Oklahoma City, and you saw during Thursday night's Game 3 how important a good head coach is.

The adjustments he made defensively were as important as anything else the Thunder did on the night.

Just like the Thunder have grown as a team, Brooks has grown as a coach.

He was 22-47 his first season and has steadily gotten better each season.

The Thunder may or may not win the NBA championship this season, but of all the young head coaches in the game, Brooks has the best chance at putting together the best career.

That's pretty cool...but somewhat sacrilegious to people like Rockets2K. It might make R2K root for SAS. That would sad.

this has been the key for at least 5, if not 7 or 8 years. no one has feared duncan isolating in the 4th quarter since 2003. ginobili has been the scary one. and parker in more recent years. he was getting single coverage and shooting in the low-40s back in 2008. and on this current spurs team it's a big break for the D when duncan is going one-on-one.

I think SA is in trouble! :p ;)

Although I thought OKC was in trouble 2 games ago too. Where is game 5? OKC or SA?

Fresh off the photoshop room. Gregg Popovich want some nastiness in game 4 and Kevin Durant delivered it with 18 of his 36 points in the fourth quarter

A coach's career goes as far as the talents on his team take him. Force JVG to speak honestly and he would tell you that. OKC has an insane amount of talent on that squad -- they have the highest ceiling among all NBA teams in my opinion. Brooks has gotten better but he's overall just an average coach in the NBA. Even as a young coach I think Frank Vogel is better. Just as his players are still learning this game, Scott is still learning coaching himself. He also needs to get better for OKC to take the next step because otherwise it is much easier to repalce the coach than the players.

As a Rocket Scott Brooks bumped his head on the floor... He never played the same game on the court after that... But he changed as a person and became a teacher and a coach....

My point is that head injuries change people everyday. Soilders come home damaged from blasts and no one knows them!!... Friends can't hang with them... families hate them for the words they say ~~~.

Rudy T changed and so did Scott Brooks.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jgqUZ1IAA_8

Rudy T won 2 championships!! with the Rockets as head coach.

And the halls of fame will always echo his words!!

Scott Brooks also hit his head on the court during a finals game against NY.

Head trauma can change people... Brooks is now a great coach and a winner!

if i could find the video of brooks hitting his head on the court I would post it.

    The format is 2-2-1-1-1

SAS has homecourt, OKC has to win there.

Umm......well, that kinda blows my theory out of the water a bit. I will say that rather than saying something negative about Drexler's broadcasting, I just say nothing at all. That is my way of not dissing the C.C. Alum.

But point taken, sir. Well played.

OKC ran the same exact same play 6/7 times during KD's 16-point run. The one exception was when KD saw the opportunity for the alley-oop and he cut to the basket instead using WB's pick.
