Who cares if rockets players are always getting traded? Why are people so concerned about this............the bottom line is that we have no all star level players so we will keep on moving our "assets" until we are able to have a foundation of players that we can feel confident in.
Whether or not you agree with OP, I like the message sent. We all know Morey is trying to land star talent and build something, but hasn't, yet. Nothing wrong with saying our patience is running a little thin.
Still waiting for a personalised Jersey for my daughter... She likes number #99 Also getting a personalised one for me...#13 My son has his already...(it's a jumpsuit jersey)#14 Other 2 daughters wear #88 & #16
*youngest daughter wears #11, but due to the Yao factor going to have change it to 15 (not #16). Get a personalised jersey, problem solved!
I'm sure if he had Duncan, Durant, Parker, etc. He wouldn't trade them either, fact is, we don't have anyone like that.
We had Yao for 9 years (6 of them injury plagued) we added McGrady and Barrier and stuck with them until Yao and McGradys wheels fell off (literally) showing true loyalty in an otherwise unloyal league. Since then, Morey brought in Martin who was a star to build around and developed Lowry and made him untouchable. Both now want out because of their relationship with McHale. That is not Moreys fault. Our patience IS running thin and we want to see consistency but some things are out of a GMs control. Don't you think Morey would have wanted to run with a healthy and mentally stable team of Brooks/Lowry at point; McGrady/? at the off guard; Artest/Barrier at the small Forward; Scola/Landry at the power forward and Yao/Mutombo at Center????? That was the team assimilated for a championship run and if healthy would have been and nearly all of those players would still be wearing Rockets jerseys today.
my only message to maury is... believe in yourself and no more tweeners! oh and don't make a trade just to make one. so i guess that is three messages.
