The Spurs can take solace in that OKC shot 56%, +11 on the boards, +11 on ast, and they only lost by 6 points. OKC can't play better than that.

Spurs actually played to their typical levels to night. 100+ points. 50%fg. OKC just got the homecourt cooking.

What do you mean? Brooks told Durant to shoot more. That was just brilliant coaching.

One of the most gifted scorers of our generation; this is what happens when you get the ball in Durant's hands. (westbrick, pay attention)

    Also:
    - duncan seems to be a non-factor, regardless of an ok statline
    - love watching kawhi play, calm and efficient
    - awesome series! bring on game 5

Reggie Jackson has insane wingspan as well (7'3"). 100% certain that is why he was drafted.

I wouldn't call Duncan a non factor. Take him out of the game and SAS probably loses by 20+

Brooks didn't play his best lineup Westbrook-Harden-Sefolosha-Durant-Ibaka for a second. Durant bailed him out. It should be blowout.

this is the key to beating SA. This has worked the last two years.

Duncan can no longer beat you. Make him beat you. Take his passing away. Make Parker and Ginobody give up the ball to Duncan, and then ISO Duncan and guard everyone else and make Duncan shoot.

I didn't make this up. This is a working formula for the previous exits of SA that no one paid attention to....but I did, because I

    h a t e

San Antonio more than any other team. Always have, even before Duncan.

Some fans and analysts were so wrong to write off the Thunder after game 2.

I picked the Thunder in 7. Let's see if they can win on the road.

You don't really take Duncan out of the game...you take Pops out of his Offense. You do that by making Duncan be the game...give him the ball and take Parker and Ginobody out of the game.

If OKC wins, it will be in 6 games. I picked them in 6 games. I don't think they can overcome the experience/home crowd of the Spurs in game 7.

They really need a dominant defensive effort to win game 5 though, ala first 3 quarters of game 1. They shouldn't expect to shoot like this on the road.

Bulls**t. I'm tired of all this f**king nonsense that Brooks can't coach. Who made the defensive adjustment on Parker in game 3? Who was wise enough to utilize Harden as a bench player? Who has a proven record of winning since this team has been assembled as it currently stands? And don't give me that horses**t about Durant bailing him out. What do you think MJ and Kobe and Wade have been doing all these years? This whole line of "well, if you're not PJ or Popovich or Riley, you're not a good coach" is a crock. It's all about scoreboard, fellas, and Brooks has taken his team to the WCF 2 years in a row by making good decisions and diffusing problems with admittedly temperamental players (mainly Westbrook).

I'm not going to sit around and allow people to spew their manure without saying something about it. YOU DO NOT DISS A CLUTCHCITY ALUM!!!!!
You can take that nonsense and GET.....THE.....F.....O of our house!!! THIS BOARD IS NAMED CLUTCHFANS FOR A REASON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't think 50% shooting and 48% from 3-point is typical. If OKC had shown more intensity in the 2nd half, it would have been another blowout. Spurs were fortunate it was close IMO. Doesn't matter. Point spread is irrelevant. Game 5 on Monday.

heypartner, completely agree with you. This is Tony Parker's team. The offense no longer runs through Duncan. TP must bounce back. Both Westbrook and Fisher (sort of) kept him under control.

It was more like LeBron-esque, when James went crazy on the Pistons, one year.

I meant overall. It's numbers lol. Durant is taking more than 5 three's a game and making 40% of them and he is better free throw shooter. His PPS(points per possesion) is higher, ergo he is more efficent.
