been saying for years, back when Lebron was with the cavs

no pg can effortlessly dominate the game in every facet the way he does

rebounds/assists/defense/steals/points.. he does it all with little effort

his lack of a consistent jumper is what keeps him closer to the comp but once he gets a knock down jumper, Rajon will be head and shoulders above the rest

but he still scores at will when he decides to be aggressive, its awesome to watch his complete game

    lol I needed that laugh

no way, no one has been putting up his numbers across the board and impacting the game as consistently as he has

so you'll take the score first pg with no other special attributes other than decent defense?

you can have Parker, give me the pure pg (Rondo) who does everything at the highest level

Clutch fans' delusions of grandeur at work. We have boatload of future all-stars and hall of fame players sitting on our roster at this moment.

Healthy CP3, Deron Williams are still better IMO. I am not as high on Rose and Westbrook.

Regardless of his shooting form, there is no other PG in the world I'd rather have than Rondo, specifically matching up against the Heat.

He's the most gifted perimeter defender I've seen since they allowed Gary Peyton to hack players in his prime.

Unless we see another Wade's take down of Rondo, this is going to be a long series.

Marcus Morris - The "next" Paul Pierce, Carmelo Anthony, and Glenn Robinson
Donatas Motiejunas - The "next" Pau Gasol/Dirk Nowitzki
Patrick Patterson - The "poor" man's Buck Williams with a better jumpshot.
Goran Dragic - "The next big point guard" (possible, but don't exaggerate)
Kyle Lowry - A top 4-7 point guard (possible, but don't exaggerate)
Chandler Parsons - Future all-star, all-purpose small forward (that one might pan out)
Courtney Lee - The "next" Eddie Jones
Greg Smith - I'm touching that one.

Chandler Parsons is Detlef Schrempf's b*stard child. He has daddy's game and bad sense of hairdo.

yeah, true. but, the reason is because CP3 and dwill both have a consistent mid range game, even if rondo became as consistent as them, you'd still choose cp3 and dwill over him?

If he has a jumper, he'd be the 2nd best player. It's shocking that he doesn't work relentlessly at it.

Don't know if he is the best or not. I will say this, if he could shoot consistently good, he would be the best.

And this I know, I love watching him play. When I have to concentrate watching him and my brain discombublates slightly with his sleight of hand trickery while watching him on TV, I can only imagine what the defenders are going through trying to defend against that stuff. IMO, he's the most entertaining player in the NBA to watch by far.

Yes. CP3 healthy is a top 3-4 player. A rondo that can shoot is better than a healthy CP3.

as OP said Rondo can DOMINATE a game like no one can. The other player is LeBron who can do that maybe even better. But when he plays like that there is no way you beat the C's.

    true.

but doesn't look like the C's have a bright future outside of Rondo.

they will probably let go of Ray in the off season, and try to keep KG, and pierce has 1 more year.

still, their future doesn't seem to bright outside of them, although bradley could end up being a superb player

They don't but don't forget Green is comming back and he can be a major contributor if they decide go small (Rondo-Bradley-Pierce-Green-KG)

    true true...

but, if they resign kg, i bet it will be for just 1 year, which means pierce and kg may retire after next season which would only leave them with:

    rondo
    bass
    bradley
    green

as there future, which seems pretty poor..
