I am not going to click on the link but I really wonder what is the psychology behind someone doing this to themselves and also the paying to eat it? I have heard there are body dysfunctions but where people hate parts of their own body so much they amputate limbs. I am wondering if that is the case with Mao Sugiyama. As for the people who paid to eat him was it just part of the thrill, the ultimate Bizarre Food, be avante garde as part of an extreme performance art, or that they actually wanted to be cannibals?
