Well, it was a 4 point swing, really.

Rondo going to the line for 2 free throws = potential Boston +2
Haslem with no one to guard because 5v4 possession = Miami -2.

Coulda, woulda, shoulda been Celtics 107-105 after that possession.

*Haslem wouldn't made an easy dunk = Boston +2.

Yes, terrible call probably decided the game.

That non call wasn't terrible...although it's a hit to the face, it wasn't a lot. In regular speed it's not that apparent, and even if it was, a ref could reason the ball was pretty much out of his hands, so why call it. It's much easier to complain looking at a slow motion replay.

Wasn't just one call that decided the game in favour of the Heat, this game was rigged.

While there are blown calls in EVERY GAME. This call was horrible.

Blatant foul on Rondo's face with him falling to the ground was left uncalled. Celtics get the lead and set their halfcourt D. Completely different game.

I'm not even gonna get into the terrible calls on Paul Pierce and teh Wade kick on Garnett.

That sucks.Obvious call that was missed. I just feel so bad for Rondo because he did play one of the most amazing games I have seen and I feebad for Boston too because that ONE game changes the series completly. Boston went from being a favourite (in my eyes) to win the series, to a team that is gonna lose for sure.

Yours and RV6's points excuse the refs but don't assuage doubts that the game would have been totally different if it was correctly called.

This. it was almost like Dwade grazed Rondo's face and that is awefully hard for the official to see. Its not like Haslem on Hanborough.

Definitely a bad missed call that changed the scope of the game. Not that Boston definitely would have won had it been called correctly, but it hurt them... there's no doubt about that.

So getting hit in the face by a arm isn't a bad foul and shouldn't be called because it wasn't as hard as Haslem on Hansborough which was a 1 game suspension foul?

He meant it wasn't as obvious as Haslem - Hansbrough.

You have to see it like this .. the results
    1. It robbed Rondo and the celtics of 2 points
    2. It took Rondo out of the play so the easy basket was made
Even if it did not effect the shot. . it effected his ability to play defense

i.e. a foul away from the ball or moving screen

As much airtime this blown call has gotten, one would think it would be a bigger blown call. Like, I don't know, a player being completely out of bounds and saving a rebound (cough, cough.. Mavericks).

A blown call this surely was. It wasn't a ridiculously obvious blown call. It was a late (as in ball was already out of Rondo's hand) hit to the face that was incidental and hard to see, even though definitively a hit.
