    Nets:

Traded Derrick Favors (#3 pick) + fillers for Deron Williams.
Dwight Howard hinted towards wanting to go to Nets, changes his mind at the last second.
Billy King panics and trades 1st round pick for Gerald Wallace (top 3 protected).
Deron Williams will leave if no Dwight Howard.
Nets pick, not in top 3, goes to Portland. No 1st round pick this year.
Nets pretty much have no assets to trade for Howard. No Howard means no Williams. Basically, all they have to show for multiple first round picks is Gerald Wallace. Nets are F***ed.

    Positives:
    New arena in Brooklyn.

    Bobcats

Shameless tanking for a historically terrible record.
Failed in the Anthony Davis-spree. Will have to settle for #2 pick.
Their team is a roster full of D-leaguers + Kemba Walker and Bismack Biyombo.
Kemba Walker and Bismack Biyombo are not even that good.
Bobcats struggling to sell tickets in a small market.

    Positives:
    Rich Cho as GM
Michael Jordan as owner (might actually be a negative)

Who has it worse right now? ie Who is more F***ed for the foreseeable future?

Who had a worse day of catastrophic proportions yesterday?

For now I'd say it's the Bobcats and I don't think it's not close.

The Nets still have some hope of landing Dwight.
Also, even if they miss out on Dwight and D-Will leaves, they could get a nice haul for D-Will in a sign&trade.

Now, if the Nets miss out on Dwight and lose D-Will for nothing, they're probably in a even worse position than the Bobcats, as they will be either terrible without any special pieces in place or mediocre with lots of mediocre pieces in place.

Bobcats- only because the jury's still out on what happens with the Nets.

Worst team to be in the NBA right now is the Bucks or Pistons IMO.

They both have it bad, but I chose the Nets. The Bobcats still have their pick, and it is #2 overall. They could keep that pick and get a good player, take a gamble on someone like Drummond and hope he pans out, trade back to acquire more picks/players, or trade the pick for an established player(s).

The Nets will only have people in attendance that are there to see the new arena if they lose Deron.

I chose bobcats... you suffered thru worst season in history just to get sterned... their foundation is kemba and byombo... your not getting any attendance already.. atleast the.fans.would have hope with davis... they have.got to have no hope as a fanbase... if attendance didnt stink already it will now...

Brooklyn will have no attendance problem, with or without dwill... not to mention a redunkulously rich owner... losing dwill this year and gerald next.leaves them in a decent cap situation... theyll suck this year without dwill and land a top pick next year(shabazz?)....

    There is 'hope' in brooklyn

    There is 'hate' in charlotte

Bobcats. Not looking bright. Light at the end of the tunnel? Nope, that's a train!

B'cats. They have all-whirrled exec MJ at the helm (ouch).

    'Cats have it worse.

Should Williams leave, the Nets still have Lopez and Brooks, both of whom are better than the best players on the Bobcats (Walker/Biyombo).

The Bobcats are in a terrible situation. At least MJ's wallet is not hurting.

The Nets are moving to Brooklyn where they will have a great fan base at the beginning no matter how bad they are. Plus their owner is one of the luckiest guys on the planet. Somehow they will end up with a good team.

The Bobcats are in a small market with disappointed fans. Plus, MJ is at the helm. They will somehow pick the next Kwame Brown or Adam Morris.

Not even close. The poll should have specified the Nets losing D-Will and not getting Dwight Howard in a trade.

Even worst case for the Nets, I still think the Bobcats are in worse shape. Their organization is trash, their local support is trash and they are probably the least attractive destination in the NBA for free agents.

I am glad they didn't get the #1 pick. MJ will end up selling the Bobcats and they will move.

Bobcats hands down. As long as MJ is calling the shots, their future is bleak. I just don't think he has what it takes to be a successful executive for an NBA franchise.
