Why would he ask Art Briles for advice about staying somewhere and finishing what he started? Spoiler
Ya that was before Peyton was declared out for the whole season. http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showpost.php?p=6269465&postcount=3 I got 4 out of the 6 AFC playoff teams. 5/6 in the NFC.
Good for him. Huge thanks to that guy for a tremendous season that ridiculously surpassed my expectations.
Who do yall see trading up to get him? I personally don't see him turning out to be as great as people believe(mostly bc he's gonna end up on a terrible team). But, i see the potential and i like the kid. I would hope Niners made a huge move for him or Luck. Doubt it, but i wish. A lot of his success is going to depend on what team he lands with and what kind of weapons he will have. Most of those teams desperate enough to make a move for him, have garbage to help him out and he's gonna have to resort to just being a pure scrambling QB imo.
I'm thinking about getting NCAA 2013 with RGIII on the cover. Do you guys know if he will be playable or just on the cover?
They can only put players that aren't in college anymore. I'm sure you could create him or download a Baylor roster with him still on there.
Bump. So what's the scoop with this guy - dude is in every single Subway commercial lately yet he hasn't played a down in the NFL. What's your prediction on how well he does in the NFL? Cam Newtonisque?
I'm kind of shocked at the RG3 media blitz too. His agent must be really frickin good. Prediction? He's too good of an athlete to be bad, but the Redskins are not going to finish above .500. I'm thinking 3200 passing yards, 600 rushing yards, and a QB rating flirting with 80.
He's playable in Heisman Challenge mode. You can take any past Heisman winners (Tebow, Ware, Barry Sanders, Ward, etc.) and put them on any team in the current season and try to win the award with them.
Finally Aggies can relive the glory days of John David Crow! Although it might be hard to win a Heisman today with a guy that was probably 5'4", 150lbs, and ran a 9.2 40. (People were a lot smaller and less athletic back in the 1860's or whatever)
The fantasy site I trust had RG3 finishing higher than Romo. Something like 7th in points among QBs. I'm not that optimistic, but I wouldn't hesitate to take him as a backup. I'll say 3300 yards 20 td 16 int, 500 rush yards 3 td
