lebron drives the ball. furthermore they cant stay in front, AND have a small front line. they have no choice but to foul. they said before the game they were going to foul. cry me a river

francis 4 prez, please calm down and take a deep breath :)

Miami won because they got the benefit of the doubt on a lot of calls tonight.

Rondo is a beast. Kyle Lowry should never be compared to him ever again.

I think that has more to do with the fact that the celtics are old and slow and unable to rotate fast enough, they also don't have anyone who can really match up with Lebron's size and quickness so it's only logical that they would foul him more to try and stop him. Also the celtics shot mostly jumpers and they hit most of them, why would you think the number of fouls called on each time should be even in this situation? I don't think saying "heat had 40 fts and celtics had 25 so the refs were bad" is accurate.

Bosh didn't play and Lebron had 34, 10, and 7, Garnett, Pierce, and Rondo lost... good night

The C's drove quite a bit that game. But the freethrow disparity isn't surprising. Playing at home, LeBron was aggressive. He is gonna get majority of those calls.

LeBron living at the line more or less masked the pretty crappy shooting night he had tonight. Oh well.

Alot of those shots came off of dribble penetration. Did you see the first half. I believe JVG actually made a point of mentioning it.

he can't seem to hit a game-winner to save his life on the heat, but he does plenty of things in "the clutch." he scored 6 points in the final 4:01 of regulation right when the celtics got their biggest lead, had a post-up that led to a swing pass to battier for the tying 3 and had the pick on his own man that freed up wade to drive and kick to haslem right after that and managed to rebound his own missed layup to at least save boston from having a chance to win. and then he had 4 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 assists in OT. the missed game-winner was in the middle of doing lots of things in the clutch.

yea, and they stopped doing that which is why they lost the lead. once miami started switching on the picks they couldnt get into a rhythm.

even if boston won its still just prolonging the inevitable. miami is better and will win the series barring another major injury. i know you all hate lebron but just accept hes going back to the finals. boston really has no chance. they are worse than last year and that team lost in 5 to the heat

Heat played poorly. Lebron shot poorly, but his greatness willed him to a 34/10/7 game (his FOURTH 30/10 game in the last 5 playoff games; he's been out of this world so far). Wade was a ghost in the first half. They shot FTs like Ben Wallce. This game wouldn't be close if they made their FTs. Despite the HUGE FT disparity, Miami was only +5 at the line in makes.

This was a game Boston had to win. Miami let their guard down b/c of how easy game 1 was.

Miami needs to finish this series fast so they can rest up for the Spurs.

And Lebron will get KILLED for missing that jumper, which was a great shot. He's a great midrange jumpshooter but his J just wasn't on tonight, so I wish he went closer to the basket, not necessarily all the way to the rim. People need to accept it. Other players can miss that shot and it's simply a bleep. Lebron is held to the highest standard and people just need to accept it.
