There is no way that Doron Lamb is in the top 14....especially over Jeremy Lamb

Where are the undersized seniors guys at. I doubt he tanks a gamble on a sophmore. The bustability is too great. Unlike football, in hoops, they mostly rank on ability to get the player.

Surely at 6th on his board there has to be one PF, usually not right sized.....

Morey always said that Courtney Lee was high on his list of priorities, both in his draft and after, but he never got to the line very much.

It is an incredibly strong SG draft. SF ain't bad either, The PF position after Davis falls off quickly. The best prospect at PF after Davis is probably Robinson, who is quite possibly a dread tweener. After Robinson the PF class again drops off. And there is Motiejunas coming over next season. Great height at 7', better skills than any PF in this draft class, and athleticism on par with any PF except Davis.

PG's in this draft go from average prospects down. Center isn't much better with Drummond having the skies the limit potential and project written all over him. Zeller is next best and if he were available to the Rockets I feel Morey would be all over it.

Sorry forgot Sully's PF skills. So Motiejunas has the best skills of any PF in the draft class except for Sully.

I am good with that. If I added players beyond the 12 I listed Leonard would have been at 13 or 14.

Repped. Every year this is the same spin that we hear over and over again. There is no need for a live press conference after the draft, just play last year's spin and they would be the same. Nice one hsf09.

I didn't forget about Dorsey. But given that three NBA teams played Dorsey mostly at center during his crappy career, I personally think of him as a center. You can disagree of course. But then your point would be that 3 NBA coaches, their GMs, and numerous scouts all feel Dorsey is a center. Until you can prove to me that your opinion on him is worth overriding all these people's opinions, I prefer to think those that work in the NBA are better at this sort of thing.

As for Morris, again your beef should be that the Rockets are morons for thinking Morris is a 3. Not that they drafted an undersized 4.

I really hope we get a center. Moultrie or Zeller.

I think Zeller will have a better career than Drummond.

I have no freakin' idea. Every year, he (Morey) surprises me, and not always in a good way. I'll have to think more about this tomorrow. I'm too bummed out tonight.
