No. We have two , 14 and 16. This is a good thing because of the depth of the draft. Everything will be fine.

@Jonathan_Feigen: I wrote in Dec. that it'll look horrible when NO wins lottery. It does. But anyone that's been in room (I was in 2002) knows can't be fixed.

Can we stop all these lottery being rigged talk like spoiled brats already? It is what it is.

dude in football there are 7 rounds as opposed the nba format of 2 rounds so of course its much more feasible for someone to drop that far especially when it concerns NEEDS. QB, for example, wasnt needed by those other teams from what i remember so obviously rodgers dropped. Also with obvious roster size difference in the nfl and nba (50 something to 15) then of course someone of his stature can drop.

however i understand that its a possibility that the likes of drummond may drop to #10 BUT his immense potential and size will make him be OVER drafted by a desperate team, like the rockets or another team looking for an impact big... 7 footers are very rare, so of course he'll be overdrafted. MKG however is a top 5 lock in all the mock drafts so i dont see him dropping at all.

i'll just go charles barkley and say "i maybe, i maybe wrong!"

Thomas Robinson or Kidd-Gilchrist would instantly be the best player on that squad, far better than any free agent they could even manage to convince to visit.

This is hardly a one-man draft.

The poInt is the rockets are less likely to make the playoffs and this is a rockets fan forum...of course this sucks for rockets fans.

There is a chance the rockets end up being the worst in the division.

Nope, just the worst record of ALL-TIME. That is a total stain on the franchise; that is a record that might never be broken. There is probably a better than good chance that the NBA ends up owning the Bobcats during the next CBA negotiations if they can't land an elite player very soon.

Everyone b****es about #14, but at least the Rockets aren't an embarrassment to their city, to basketball, and the very idea of professional sports.

They'd only be the best player on that squad because the Bobcats have nothing to build around.

Again, THE WORST SEASON IN NBA HISTORY! If that's not getting you a guaranteed superstar, it just isn't worth it.

Yup, it does pay off as long as it does not become a way of life. The Mavs lost Shaq in the draft because they beat us in a meaningless game.. The Spurs got Duncan tanking.... We got Olajuwon...

Like Amaru said, the Hornets in one year of rebuilding have passed us long term.

And after years of collecting assets they have more value in one player than we do in our entire team.

The Bobcats are closer to be contenders than this Rocket team.

The Rockets franchise are an embarrassment to their fans....they literally don't give a **** about us

Hooray! Let's get another superstar at #14 so we can form our own big three with Patrick Patterson and Marcus Morris!
