Even though the Spurs are dominant this season because they are amazing all around as a team, it's pretty crazy what he is doing at his age. Where do you rate him all time if they win the championship? I hate the Spurs but I have to admire Duncan as a person in the age of Basketball Divas we live in. He's so quiet yet so freaking good.

Only if Duncan wins a ring this year can he be compared to the greatness of LerBon.

    LOL. Great thread. Love it.

Duncan is hands down the best PF to ever play the game. He's hands down the best PF/C to ever play this game. He's one of the top 15 centers of all time. He's fixing to get his 5th ring and it appears he will be battling for his sixth ring again next season, if everybody stays healthy.

What more needs to be said?

When will LeBron prove he is on Tim Duncan's level?

Lebron's never lost in the first round. TD has a long way to go before he gets on lebron's level.

Duncan is great and all, but he doesn't log the type of minutes LeBron does and has.

Uh...I hope you're not serious. How many rings does Duncan have already? And how many rings does Lebron have? Yup, exactly. Duncan doesn't need to prove a thing and he's still way above Lebron on the All-Time Greats list.

I really hope he does not drop down to Lebron's level.

I think it should be phrased something like "TD will never be at LBJ's level of BB abilities and physical gifts go, and LBJ will never hold a candle to TD as a winner".

LOL - was trying to make both sides happy, but I don't think that is going to happen.

I thought this guy was done if fact, it was the first like half against the Rockets
At one point this season. He looked slow and just not the same. These playoffs he has
Been on like Dream/Moses/Chuck level...he's rested he's got legs. I can't believe this
Old spurs team that was DONE! I mean DONE, yet somehow they play perfect pick
And roll ball, aren't cocky to the extent of I.e. Miami, but man they got legs under um, they grabbed the num. one seed and did it all with Pop playing the Big three barely any minutes.
The Ro let's need to figure it out.

    East ....west

TD has always been great and ever since lebrons fourth season they have been on the same level. TD is getting old while lebron is in his prime. I don't think you can say anyone in the nba is on the level of Durant, lebron and wade.

Agreed. LBJ is past his prime, and Duncan is just getting into the prime of his career. I'm predicting that TD wins at least 4 championships in his career. Once he gets to 5, he will be on LeLevel as LeBron

No. Everyone and they momma prefers the three I mentioned to be the big shot takers and have the ball in the fourth.

The heat still have the top two players in the entire nba.

    That ring.they.want.it.they.cant.be.stopped.

    ..............what.

Anyways, if the Spurs win and Duncan gets the MVP, then he's #5 on my all-time list. Ahead of Shaq, Wilt, Bird, and Dream.

I think Dream's prime was better than Duncan's, but Duncan had the longer span of "prime years".

Like, if I had to choose, life or death for a pickup game, I choose Dream. If I have to make a team, life or death, for a 15 year series of pickup games played everyday, I pick Duncan.

He's definitely a top 10 player all time, and if he does win finals mvp- he will be the greatest PF of all time.
