    They had all sorts of tech that they didn't or couldn't use. Instead of producing jets, which may have helped against allied air superiority, they produced 'Vengeance' missiles to shoot at Great Britain instead.

    The Japanese had jets close to the end of the war, too.

    The allied invasion of Normandy worked because the Nazis were convinced (via allied subterfuge) that the main thrust was going to come up the coast at Calais, and concentrated the bulk of their defenses there.

    If Hitler would've waited a few years more with his war we would've destroyed every country that wasn't on our side. So many great scientists and minds in Germany, see the US rocket program, etc.

    I was born in Germany on an American army base (American soldier parents, but I'm also 1/4th German), and while I always admire German ingenuity (and the Nazis definitely had some military accomplishments as well) I would never say something like that.
