I remember seeing a funny one with Baluchis wheeling on their bikes with one hand on the handles and one hand with machine guns in the air, but I can't find it.

In the end, I think all people from all around the world would do crazy stuff like this if they're young enough and bored enough. I bet you could find just as crazy stuff in Europe/Asia/S.A./Africa, etc.

 

My best friend is Saudi and he likes these sort of things. I get motion sickness when he's behind the wheel. I think he toned it down a bit now.

 

My buddy who worked in Jeddah said he saw these things every now and then.

It's understandable. These kids live in a country that criminalizes fun. Movies, music, conversing with the opposite sex, alcohol, etc... are all illegal.

So it makes sense that they do crazy stuff like this as an outlet.

Judging by how theres like absolutely no rule or order when it comes to traffic, it's no surprise that the Saudi natives develop downright nasty driving habits. Thats right, theres no lanes, barely any traffic lights, no signage etc. It's just every driver for themselves.

I had a someone tell me a story, I think she was a female American-Muslim who was visiting the country with her family to attend Hajj, the pilgrimage to Mecca and she and her father nearly got their car smashed while trying to make a right turn. Thankfully they stopped in their tracks. Shocked from the near vehicular manslaughter, they tailed the guy that almost hit them and told him to pull over. He did and they confronted him saying that he almost killed them. He simply replied back that "If God wanted you to die today, it would've happened" and that was that.

 

LOL I don't even know what to say to that...

Without getting this to the D&D, some Muslims (terrorists aside) are really trying hard to give the religion a bad name. But I guess idiots come in all shapes, colors, religions, and size.

Idiocy doesn't discriminate lol. Being a Muslim myself, I have witnessed tons of ignorant and completely stupid actions/remarks/reactions from fellow Muslims. Sometimes it's because of the "back-home" mentality and not knowing how to adjust and conduct themselves properly. The religion itself has nothing to do with them being stupid/nuts/a-holes, that's their own problem.
