    As far as Pappa's, we went there once and I got a horrible steak so I refuse to go back. Although I will say my friends seemed to enjoy their food though.

    Del Frisco's is newer than 6 years old, and Pappas has a sick wine list. I said V&A is good, too. You're fine going there.

    regarding your point about being under 25 for Roak, just pay the guy at the door $100 and you all get in without a problem.

    It's a great steakhouse, though, with a truly incredible wine list

    Houston born and raised. Refuse to go to that **** hole, they might as well be in Oklahoma for all I'm concerned.

    What's Katsuya like? Been meaning to check it out since its right around the corner... but I hate "upscale" places, I feel like they're catered more towards people who try and act like they have money or are going through a midlife crisis. The GF likes em though... is Katsuya more about the scene than the food?

    I have only eaten at the Katsuya in West Hollywood. Never been to the one here, although I stopped in to get a drink after attending a happy hour at St Genevieve a few weeks ago -- yeah, it's definitely a scene. The food at the West Hollywood location was great
