I can't honestly say there's a set way they can guard it that the Spurs won't exploit. They should probably run better PnRs on their own end though.

The Spurs are the best at running it in the NBA... That,s Pops system.
the Refs are are heavily against the Spurs.

The bad calls and no calls are what is killing the Thunder right now.

The Spurs are running there game to almost perfection, but the refs are killing the thunder in what should be a Much much much closer game

I agree with you with respect to Westbrook vs. Parker and Durant vs. Duncan. But I feel like Harden has been a better player than Ginobili throughout the season.

Another point, OKC also misses Eric Maynor. Having to rely on Derek Fisher is killing them tonight.

That Danny Green 3 just now was influenced by the ref standing beside him.

zzpot is the DaDakota 2.0 it seems.

the spurs have more overall talent when you consider just how devastating their 3 point shooting group is. none of the players individually may be great but together they make it so that guarding the spurs is pretty much impossible. i said it last game but the spurs have hit at least 6 3's in 47 of their last 48 games. that's absurd in terms of the quantity of 3's but also consistency. every single game the court is spread for the pick and rolls to operate smootly and when parker is shooting 100% on 18 foot jumpers then they are literally unguardable because there's no outlet. you can't go under the pick and roll (against ginobili either because he'll step back for 3), you can't go over because parker is in the paint then, you can't trap because the 3's will be open and you can't force the pass to the big men because all 3 of duncan/diaw/splitter will make that quick pass for 3 instead of picking up a charge. i'm glad barkley pointed out that westbrook isn't making worse decisions than parker because he's stupid, but because parker's decisions are much easier. the spurs have a weapon everywhere parker looks. the spurs can make it so that westbrook's only option is something no one should ever have to do, a pass to kendrick perkins.

and for jopatmc, who commented a few pages ago that the threat of duncan posting up scares the thunder. no. the thunder would LOVE IT if duncan posted up one on one all the time and took the ball out of parker and manu and the 3 point shooting group's hands. he tried a few earlier tonight and predictably got nothing.

A supposedly sluggish Diaw blowing by Ibaka for the easy reverse?

    Spurs' execution is too good.

2 more free throws (at home) don't account for the Spurs 16 pt lead. Let's stop blaming the refs are for the Thunder's struggles already.

how did boris diaw's fat worthless ass become so awesome once he put on a spurs uniform?

man, if the heat spent their role player money as wisely as the spurs (the big 3 on the team's make almost exactly the same amount of money) they could look like this as well. unfortunately they go 5-25 with wide open 3's while the spurs have bobcats rejects rattling them home.
