For you, maybe. No one 'hated' him when he was still playing for the Cavaliers. And if they did, then LeBron must have personally done something to them.
people did hate on lebron before the decision... you may not want to remember it that way and blame everything on the decision but that's how it was. i actually hated lebron the first few years in the league.... mainly because of the hype. towards the end, after what he did to detroit, i started to become a fan. he's a great player. i keep up with yahoo nba, realgm, realgm boards and clutchfans.... and i dont really ever remember seeing anything that i would consider douchey, relative to other nba players i realized that i hate the fans and/or haters of players, especially when their argument is really one sided and when they ignore some facts so they can use other facts to support their agenda. lebron took his destiny into his hands and joined wade/bosh to win. i dont see anything wrong with that. even now, he may not be a lock to win it all... that's how volatile the league is year to year. he played out his contract and made the decision that was best for him, not anyone else. okc drafted great players, spurs drafts great players... what happens if your team doesnt draft great players? you lose or you make a team with great players. the lesson in it all is that teams need to learn how to draft better.
1. Arrogant(tats) 2. Show-off(before game ritual) 3. Needs others to win 4. A huge flopper, and a baby 5. A total prima donna 6. Complete douche
I don't hate LeBron. He choked when it counts. And he tried to ride coattail for a cheap ring. Just some objective observations. And LeBron fanbois called that hate.
Because they are jealous haters. I gurantee if Lebron were to sign with their team they would be all over him. Can't wait till he wins a title so he can shut the haters up. then the haters will say "oh he only has 1 ring"
I don't like arrogant flopping prima donnas. That's why I dislike Lebron, Kobe, Wade. And it doesn't help that Lebron decided to try and grab a cheap ring by making a superteam.
LOL wut? Let me break this down 1. Arrogant because he has tats? I know several people who have tons of tats in the NBA that are arrogant like JR Smith and Brandon Jennings. Do you hate them? 2. Before game ritual? Do you hate Dwight because of his ritual? How about Wades? 3. Needs others to win? Let's see......I guess you hate Hakeem because he needed other people to win. How about Kobe? He needed Shaq to win his first 3 titles. Hell, he even needed Gasol to win his last 2. 4. Huge flopper? Do you hate Ginobli? 5. Total prima dona? LOL yeah right 6. Same as 5
Yes. Maybe I should restate that. Went and teamed up with other superstarts to grab a cheap ring, which also had to include a 1 hour long ESPN special where he famously quoted" I'm going to take my talents...". Really? How arrogant can you get. And he didn't even tell the other teams that he had decided not to play for them. It was all a big show and all a big games, so that King James could attain more glory. Unfortunately for him, his plan backfired. Don't get me wrong; I was a fan of Lebron's in his early Cleveland days. Notice how I said early. Then as slowly he started becoming more cocky and lathering in his own selfish pride, I was drawn away. Finally, he had just become so bad that I detest him now. Funny, how I used to scream my head of for him; now I'm screaming my head off against him.
1. Cocky tat saying" Chosen 1" 2. Just bring more glory to himself. Unlike Dwade and Howard, they don't throw powder over themselves to put themselves in more spotlight. I do hat Dwade though, but that's because he's dirty. 3. None of the above left the way Bron did and joined a superteam to win a ring. He also promised to not leave until he had brought Cleveland the championship. 4. Yes. I detest flopping. Only reason I don't detest Scola is because he plays for the Rockets and works extremely hard. 5. Yes 6. Yes
Do you hate Hakeem for his contract dispute when i wanted to leave the Rockets for better things and "grab a cheap ring"? Cavaliers suck at basketball, that is why he left.
For me it's simply because he's the overdog playing for an overdog team, and everyone wants to see the overdog fail.
1. Durant 2. Lots of NBA players 3. Kobe, Hakeem, Magic, Shaq, The Celtics Trio, etc 4. Lowry, Paul, Blake Griffin, and countless others 5. Dwight? 6. Kobe, Jordan, Garnett
Interesting fact: Other than Lebron's rookie year, he has scored the 2nd most points in one year in the NBA. 8 years in a row, kinda weird. http://www.basketball-reference.com/players/j/jamesle01.html
1. Really? Tattoos make you arrogant? And don't give the chosen 1 crap. He is the best basketball player on the planet. That sounds like a chosen one to me. 2. So anyone with a pregame ritual is a showoff? D Wade does pull ups on the damn rim. KG bangs his head against the padding on the goal and grunts like an animal. 3. Nobody wins "on their own." Even Jordan had another top 50 of all time player on his squad. It's not Lebron's fault his team couldn't draft a better supporting cast. Is it Carroll Dawson's fault the Rockets didn't win a championship with Stevie or Yao? 4. Lebron is not a flopper. Scola, Manu, Varejao, etc. Floppers. If you don't like flopping, then you should be president of the "Get rid of Scola, Lowry, and Martin's sorry asses" club. 5 and 6 can be grouped together. Do you personally know him? No, didn't think so. Does Lebron go around calling people cancer patients? Does he stick his legs under people when they're in the middle of taking a shot? Does he numerous kids by numerous women and neglect them all?
Also, in another thread you said you hated Lebron because he is on his 2nd team. Do you hate all of the key players in the Rockets back to back championships too? Vernon Maxwell, Otis Thorpe, Kenny Smith, Robert Horry, Mario Elie, Sam Cassell, Clyde Drexler, and oh yeah, this guy: Spoiler These dudes also switched teams: Spoiler
